I was thinking more along the lines of places other than clubs/resorts/spas. I'm pretty familiar with the clubs and resorts around here. Maybe there are some locals out there that have like some hiking spots or camping spots that they could share.

There have to be thousands of off-the-beaten-
path areas in southern Nevada where anyone,
or a group of anyones, can enjoy the outdoors
naturally! Mt. Charleston comes to mind, and
I know that the Yahoo! Group SeniorLasVegas
Nudists took photos up there and had them
posted within their group. Sadly that group
disappeared before we moved to Las Vegas, but
that shouldn't have effected the availability
of side trails and such. I would recommend
taking a hand-held GSP unit to insure a safe
return home, and it is possible the temps
aren't compatible with excessive amounts of
social nudity right now, but I'm game!

When?!? Anyone with weekdays off is invited
to contact me directly.

I have found that I can hike naturally in Red Rock during the off peak hours with no difficulty.

There is an excellent nude beach on lake Meade. I don't remember the directions or the name unfortunately. Definite Senior Brain Fart. Perhaps Gary can dig up the name for you. It really is a good beach and people often have cook-outs there. I am thinking (hard work for me) that there is camping there too. It is an easy drive from LV.

I'll be in L.V. in a week or so. No social nude time so far, (except in my suite with a king sized bed and an inroom spa http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/wink3.gif) but I plan on sampling every good food place in town. I'll especially be visiting Quark's Bar! Besides Quark's there are more great restuarants in L.V. than anywhere outside New York, London and Paris. IMHO, Italy has the best food, but not in a particular city.

There is a non-landed nudist club that Gary didn't mention. Unfortunately I haven't gotten their newsletter in a few years and have forgotten their name or anything else of relavance. My only cheer is that my best buddy has a worst memory than I do. Anyhoo, this club has some really great parties at members houses...in L.V. all have pools of course! There is also a gay non-landed club (TNS) that is active and of good size if that is of interest.

Unfortunatly Las Vegas has no sanctioned AANR or TNS Nudist Resorts or large hotels other than a couple of Non Landed day use private home facilities of a Non Landed Club.

The Rancho Sun day facility outside of Las Vegas in Sandy Valley closed recently after the elderly owner passed away.

Our house Las Vegas link/web page is no longer.

The Yahoo Group "Las Vegas Seniors" is not a group anymore.

There is one gay mens clothing optional hotel called the "Blue Moon"

Ok, this is one of the ones I was thinking of Gary. It is a good group! Very nice people. Thanks for your research!

Also check out some of the hot springs below the Hoover Dam. I think Gold Strike is the name of one of them on the AZ side. Some can best be reached from the river, at least one can be hiked into. The research I had done indicated that these springs are pretty much c/o and nudity is common. A couple of years ago I rented kayaks for a buddy and myself. We spent the day on the river (incredible views & wild life), but couldn't seem to get away from a tour group (we had taken the self guided option). Next time we will plan an over night trip and hopefully include our wives.

Hi Gang,

Boy have I been in another world!

NakedGary, a correction about Nevada Sun Rancho, NSR, they are not closed. I'm a member there, the membership has drop somewhat due to the unfortunate incident with Gloria, but they are very much alive and open.

They have just completed the renovation of the clubhouse and should be starting a membership drive shortly.
