Happy Imbolc to you also.
Ostara is almost here then on to Beltane. My favorite next to Sam Hain.

Do anything special for Imbolc? /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I came across a reference last year to the fact that Beltane can be "somewhat erotic." Well, duh! /infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Imbolc was pretty much the light-a-candle-and-meditate ritual. How about you?

Job hunting, incence burning, went on short hike,(which is what I do when meditating) and painting.

There was a Imbolc/ Candlemas celebration down in the Springs on Sat. but snow kept me from driving down there from Denver.

LOL! I seem to have quite a few of those around right now. And none of them are cacti, which makes the whole thing a lot more appealing. /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Happy Imbolc to you all!
I've had a look at http://www.witchvox.com/
And the Nudity at Events article.
Is this a good overview, and what do you think about the "events" article?

Speaking only for myself, I generally think that witchvox has good material. Keep in mind that it's heavily Wiccan rather than Pagan-in-general, but it's a good site. You might also want to check out ReligiousTolerance.org and Beliefnet.com.

I couldn't find the nudity article at WV, but I don't have time to do a detailed search. I'll look it up later.

I think she's just making the case for the same philosophy as many here have: nude when possible, clothed when practical. And that Pagans or their gods may have a preference, but that preference doesn't override common sense, nor does it give anyone the right to harm or offend their neighbors in the name of religion.

Most of the writers and posters at Witchvox tend to adhere to the "harm none" advice of the Rede. I took this article to be extending that reasoning in answer to those who claim that their religious freedom trumps everyone else's rights.

Personally, I'm hoping the weather improves enough for an outdoor ritual at Ostara.

A decent crop of sour grapes has been harvested in Colorado I see. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/laugh.gif

Besides! If some weirdos in black top hats dragged me out into the cold air outta my warm hibernation, just to parade me around in my PJ's (if I wore any) in front of a bunch of cheering, camera flashing freaks....I too would tell them something that would ruin their day!
Except my words would not be read out loud on national television!

P.S.- It is not just sour grapes. Pittsburg Steelers are only a couple steps above the Raiders in my book!
They will probly win the bowl, but I am rooting for the Hawks, because they used to be in our division, and Seahawks minus the Bozworth are not as annoying!

Besides...why be sour?
I live in Colorado!

We all share the sun. The earth is closer to the sun by a couple million miles in (our) winter than in (our) summer. All this is to balance the weather on the planet. If not balnaced and having such changes life would not exist on our world.

If nothing else, it gives us always something to look forward to !

The beast struck this weekend.
Experienced about 19 inches of snow over the weekend.
My muscles are still sore from cleaning up.
