Why are so many posts "doubled"?

When I went back through all of my posts last night, fixing the ones with broken "quotes", I noticed that alot of first posts in many threads are doubled. Seems like that would just put an extra load on the servers, besides looking strange.

I guess the export-database ./ import-database didn't go quite as smoothly as it could have.

Hope it all get straightened out.

This was caused by the import. I don't see this as being a big deal, however. Simply skip the duplicate post. Over time, the Moderators can help me remove the duplicates.
