Thought I might point out and option that some might not be taking advantage of. It will give you more (or less) options when posting.

Go to User CP and click on edit options

Scroll to the bottom and see this:

<FIELDSET class=fieldset><LEGEND><LABEL for=sel_showvbcode>Message Editor Interface</LABEL></LEGEND><TABLE cellSpacing=3 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD>When posting messages to the forums or other members, there are three interface types available to you. The simplest of these is a simple text box, while the last is a fully-fledged WYSIWYG editor, which allows </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></FIELDSET>

If you set this to the third option it will give you more than just a text box to post in.

It is real easy to use for example if you want bold print, just hightlight what you want bold and click on the B

You can use it much like Word or similar programs.

Hope that helps someone;)

:) wow NOW we can ALL have some :D with these controls. At first I though the new site was:eek: and despite being VERY  at first 1 x 1 I am learning new tricks

I don't see any CLAPPING HANDS though :p

Trouble is I already spend more time than I should on this site (considering that I still work to earn a living)I hope I don't become even more addicted than I am already

I like all the new toys, but it saddens me to tell you that whilst it should be :vacation: in the south of France, it isn't, its more:raining: and no :sunny: at all which makes me rather :disappointed:, so I'll have to pack up my RV and :driving: to Spain in the hope of finding some :sunny: there!

I say, what jolly good fun.

I just wanted to bring this back up. I have been scrolling through the membership and there are quite a lot of you that is still posting with the "standard text box" and no tool bars. It appears that every one that was brought over from the old forums are set to standard, and you will need to go in and change this setting. New people are set at the default setting and have the toolbars, but you can still go in and change it to wysiwyg.

If you have not made the above change in your User Control Panel (CP) you are missing a lot of posting power.

If you need any help please let us know
