Does anybody know if Atlantic Shores Resort is still operating? or has it closed?

Here is a post from another forum saying that the Atlantic Shores is still open (as of 5-1-06)

Last report from friends living in KW...the pier will be rebuilt with concrete and the area next to the shores is being fenced off and will be a clothing optional sunbathing beach. The Shores is located about a block up from the Southern Most Point on South Street.

Atlantic Shores Resort is now part of Southernmost Hotel & Resorts (http://www.southernmostonthebeach.com/index.html). But, it's probably closed right now, because their "Here We Grow Again (http://www.southernmostonthebeach.com/HereWeGrowAgain.html)" page says: ... Renovations on this project are scheduled to begin in the first two weeks of July, 2007 and may continue through the fall of 2008. The renovations during this time will take place at the Atlantic Shores Resort property located at 510 South Street.

Yeah, I kinda figured that if it's just an extension of Southernmost's holdings, it would NOT be a nudist place. Damn.

I was in Key West during Fantasy Fest in October.

One place I know for sure is clothing optional is the Garden of Eden bar. It's on the rooftop of the Bull and Whistle bars, located at the corner of Caroline and Duval Streets. I was nude there for a couple of hours on two nights.

It's not nude everywhere but Marrero's Guest Mansion has a c/o pool area. It's location is great, 1/2 a block from Duval St. and Margarittaville and the complimentary continental breakfast and afternoon cocktail hour are great.

Hi, NudePartTime. About what percentage of people using the pool at Marrero's are nude? I stayed at one of those c/o places once and was the only one nude at the pool. Everybody else was in something skimpy and it felt kinda weird. But I sure wasn't going to join them!
