Looking for a Nude Beach in Playa Del Carmen

Are there any nude beaches in the area where it does not require staying at a Clothing Optional resort? We have a vacation planned but it is at a Textile resort. We would like to know if there are other beaches that are clothing optional.

most of the resorts, have some open beaches on both sides. When we were there, we just strayed a bit and were not bothered. Good luck

Yes we just went to the far side of the beaches to strip off. There were usually a few others there.

I agree with Yorkguy. Was there 2 summers ago and if you are in a less populated area, you can go nude without much trouble. Just be careful and be smart, it is a different country.:)

It looks like there are nude sunbathing/beach options in the area even though we arent staying in a CO resort. Im sure we will ask a few questions after we arrive and go from there. Doesnt seem to be a big problem but I understand we will need to use some common sense. Its going to be a few months from now but I will report what I find out.
