I will be going to a meeting near San Diego Oct 31 through Nov. 3, and would like to enjoy some nude recreation while there. It is beginning to get cold here in Nebraska and I hope that it will still be warm enough in Calif to enjoy some social nudity.

I notice that there two resorts in the vicinity of where I will be, and wonder if I could get some information or recommendations as to where to go. Sun Island Resort is one and the other is Glen Eden Sun Club.

I would appreciate any info I could get on these, and what weather conditions are like at the present time. Hopefully the fires will be out long before I get there.

Sun Island resort is very very good; especially on weekends. Call for explicit directions or rent GPS equipped car!

El Cajon, CA weather is nice and they call it Sun Island for a reason. Southern CA sun is very warn; warmer than ambiant temps would suggest.

Both Glen Eden and Sun Island are nice, but don't forget DeAnza Springs.

DeAnza is about an hour east of Sun Island, but includes over 500 acres of land to be nude on. You can see a lot of DeAnza on recent Nudes in the News shows.

There are times when I really wish I lived out west, Deanza looks great and their rates are very affordable in my mind. Are these rates typical of CO resorts?

Why the preference for Sun Island so much over Glen Eden? I was a member of Sun Island - Swallows - for a couple of years! Great! How does Glen Eden rate so low?

Just returned from my trip to San Diego and thought I might report on my experience. I was able to go to both Sun Island and Glen Eden, but could not get out to DeAnza Springs. (I'll be sure and get there next time I am out in that vicinity.)

Sun Island is a really nice place, and I did enjoy myself. I was there on a weekday, so there was not a lot going on, but the staff was exceptionally friendly. Not a large resort, but well worth going to visit.

Bobjane, apparently you had a bad experience at Glen Eden, and I am sorry for that. I had a great experience. I happened to go on the weekend, so there was a lot of activity. Each new visitor must take a tour, and the guide was very friendly, and obviously had a lot of pride about the place. Then, I had plenty of time to hike, swim, read, look around, etc. A water volleyball game began about 1:00 p.m. and there were about 20-25 participants who rotated in and out. Just really great fun.

I was very sorry that I had to leave fairly early to get back to the airport to return home. I have to say that Glen Eden was one of the best of my nude experiences. But I also will still highly recommend Sun Island.

Many of the resorts around the country offer a free visit for the first time visitor. This is true of both Sun Island and Glen Eden. Since I believe this free pass is given in order to get people to try social nudity and solicit membership in the club, I feel guilty about taking advantage of it, knowing that I cannot participate in that way. However, paying about $20 for the enjoyment of one of my favorite pasttimes is not out of line to me.

I find in going around the country that this is a fairly standard rate for a gate fee if you are staying just for the day. Since I am a member of TNS, I usually get a slightly discounted rate, and it makes for a fairly easy entry into the grounds.

I must get back to San Diego soon!
