Have you been to Zipolite? I am not sure it would qualify as a "resort" as there are certainly no large hotels, and some people might even consider it a little primitive, but I was there this past summer and thought it was wonderful and I will go back again when I get the chance. It was my favorite place along the Oaxacan coast.

There are lots of trip reports available on the internet about Caribbean Reef Club. Use a search engine, and you'll find them easily. Some like it, some don't. No doubt it depends on what you're looking for.

Based on trip reports, the resort is a favorite with swingers; sometimes it is basically taken over by lifestyle people. . .and I'm not sure how you would know ahead of time how it would be during the time that you were planning to attend. That's why we haven't been and aren't going.

If you're looking for luxury, Hidden Beach Resort is getting generally good reviews in the trip reports. There were some problems when they first opened, but it looks like those have been worked out.
