:)Just wondering how many other people here enjoy exercising naked like me.
I regularly enjoy running naked for a few miles along quiet country trails, although I normally carry my running shorts to cover up if spotted. Now that the days are drawing in, I now go running at night wearing only my headtorch.
I must say that it's a really great experience to feel the freedom of running naked. Another perk is that there are no sweaty sports clothing to wash at the end of the training session.

If i run i would need some athletic support. I do walk 4 miles at the mall every morning.

Everything we do here we do nude. If retiring to a farm wasn't enough I do still manage to make it to the free weights at the gym after throwing hay bales around all morning.
It is a private gym that allows us to be nude so several men and women do their workout routines nude as well - there are a lot of competitive body builders in the gym (and no I am not one of them, I am more of what is called a 'power lifter' - like the Olympic weightlifters) and very few run of the mill averages Joes so nudity isn't a big deal like it would be in a commercial gym.
Of course with all the competitive body builders walking around there is a whole lot of preening and posing going on.;)

I'm usually nude when I workout also. Nothing beats getting all worked up and the fresh air dry you off. Of course, I workout at home. I wish there was a gym where I could practice working out nude, but not around here.:smoking:

That's another temperature dependent thing around here. Since I blew out a knee last Spring I have laid off running in favor of a treadmill in the basement. In warm weather I only wear shoes and socks but, as the weather has cooled I've added a t-shirt. I much prefer nude workouts to clothed.

I hike nude and ride a bicycle nude, or at least did before someone stole my bike. Nude hiking is a favorite of mine. It is mostly walking, but I enjoy it a great deal.

I also prefer to bushwalk (hike..) and mountain bike nude;
and I will exercise nude when alone - I would do weights nude too, but don't have the facilities at this time..
and I prefer to swim, surf and sunbathe nude, as well, where possible...

Yoga is my main form of excercise and while I go to a few clothed classes a week I much prefer the nude classes that I also attend. And when doing yoga at home I always do it nude.

In warm weather I like to hike nude in the woods and in the winter I like to ride my exercise bike in the nude. I can't ride my bicycle in the nude, but I do ride it with very minimal running shorts on.
I need to purchase a treadmill, and when I get this it will be used nude.

I'm up on my treadmill almost every morning, and I'm always nude. It only makes sense. Why would I want to make some clothes all sweaty. I'm often barefoot when I walk, but sometimes I'll wear some sneakers. It all depends on how hard I intend to work out.
Now that the weather has gotten cooler, I'll usually start with a cut off t-shirt, but I loose that after about 10-15 minutes.
Last summer when we were on our vacation in the Bahamas, I'd get up most mornings about the time the sun came up, and I'd take off down the beach completely nude. There were about a dozeon other houses strung out along the 1.4 miles beach, but since we went during the low season, I never saw anyone else out there. If anyone was inside their house, and saw me, I never knew it.

I use the treadmill everyday also, mostly with shorts on but sometimes nude. I do find that the sweat is collected by the shorts and helps by not making the tread wet, so maybe for safety shorts are better if doing a long run.. But I try to ride my bike naked nearly everyday.

When I do office cleaning, I do sweat alot with clothes on. So, I tried go nude cleaning the office alone. Boy, I felt a lot better. I felt cooler and not a sweat drop after some twenty minutes.
I have painted houses without clothes on.
I just found that there is a nude yoga classes at downtown. I am thinking about join it.
I also walk my dog nake. I do still carry my shorts with me. Yea one lady did caught me, but she walked by and said not a word. But a month later, I read the newspaper and there was someone reported it to the park ranger. I hoped it wasn't about me. But if it is, oh well.
It's hard to go nude when you are deaf. Not hearing others coming around and get caught.
I love to go skinny dipping on the beach. Others who have saw me have told me, that's cool.
I hate doing this alone. I hope someday others will follow suit.
i have a treadmill i use at home, and have been asked to take part in the next world naked bike ride in sydney next year, which i will do, probably body painted

I run at least two miles every morning but much as id like to doing that nude is not an option. first no place to run around here nude and second running with out a bra is not advisable. tried it a few times with just a tee shirt and my chest hurt for several days afterwards from the bouncing. Ill
stay with swimming nude.

I have not been to our swims but look forward to playing volleyball, and dipping, and since I started using weights, I can do that too.
Here in Cleveland, we rent out a very nice suburban health club 2 times a month with full facilities.

Every other day I drive 5 minutes from home into the bush where I jog nude, part of my exercise regime, I do between 40 and 60 minutes most time. I carry a pair of small lycra shorts twisted around my wrist for the rare occasions when I see someone else on the tracks. It is so much easier running nude as you stay cooler all over, it is so refreshing even though one is working up a sweat. Once or twice I have been sighted but nothing came of it.
Occasionally I drive to a scenic reserve that includes a small mountain, which has a number of walking tracks over it. I strip off and carry a backpack for some clothes and drinks and head off; just wonderful.
Unfortunately I am not able to workout at the gym clothes free! Maybe one day!

I do my Physical Therapy exercises nude; easier without the encumberances. Unfortunately when at the gym at the university or at the PT office, I have to be clothed.

Guess I am going to be the odd person out on this topic. I exercise daily with three days for weights. I find when spinning or using weights to prefer to wear good cotton shirts and shorts to absorb the sweat as the body gets slicky (and yes, I sweat! lol Big time) When doing aerobics I prefer to do them nude so guess I am a switch hitter between excercising nude and textiled.

I always exercise naked at home three times per week - Nordic Track and weights. This has to be inside where I live. However, I do get to execise at the beach a couple times per month. So much more comfortable than exercising with textile coverings! :)

Since my last post I have been exercising nude everyday, I do sweat a lot and keep a towel handy so I can wipe the sweat when necessary. I really enjoy nude exercising and the bonus of course is that they is less washing to do. The weather here is rainy just now so this is just about the only nude opportunity I get right now.
Looking forward to the weather clearing and getting to the beach.

Abs, stretching. I will run nude if possible. If I had a treadmill at home I would use it nude. My wife generally rides the bike nude, and does yoga, abs, and some weights. All this is temperature permitting. We keep our house cold in the winter, so clothes are normally worn, unless in bed.

I do almost everything nude (weather permitting) including working. My job allows me to work nude if I am working at a field site, not in the office. Although, even in the office, I am nude under my clothes!
Anyway, exercising nude is very beneficial for many reasons. The Greeks didn't do their sports nude on accident. I recall one competition swimmer doing her round nude and won by a lot. the other competitors complained that she had an advantage, and made a protest. The judges finally ruled that it was not an advantage as defined by the rules because she was not using any methods or equipment not available to the other competitors! HA!!
When I was is HS, we swam nude for P.E. class, that's just how it was. We had to wrap with towels to go from the outdoor pool to the locker room though. I didn't once and got yelled at. The price you pay...
Been nude all my life, just got so used to it that I don't give it any thought. When I wear clothes, it feels yucky and restrictive. When I am nude, I feel a lot better. Friends tell me I look ridiculous with clothes on! That's a glowing endorsement if I ever heard one.

The extra snowy winter convinced me that I should buy a trainer for my bike since I wouldn't be riding outside anytime soon. So for the last week I've been able to "ride" nude, except for my cycling shoes, indoors.
I wouldn't dream of doing any serious riding in the nude outside though. The vibration coming through the seat would insure I couldn't sit for the rest of the week. I don't even want to think about what would happen if I wrecked.

Yes, I put a towel on the seat to absorb sweat. I suspect I'd slide off without it.

Have exercised at home in the nude. Doing stretching, yoga postures, and using a fitness ball. Was better than training with clothes on. If I knew of a legitimate nude yoga class being taught in the area I would definitely participate; same if there were a facility that tolerated nude swimming and weight training. Needless to say, running would be the icing on the cake. It is so much better to work up that sweat and let it trail off the body; I find it preferable to wearing the perspiration wicking clothing.

I would love to excercise naked! However I do road biking and that is definitly not condusive to being naked. I often think about how great it would be to be able to go out for a 26 mile bike ride on a warm spring day naked without any issues. But, alas, it is not to be...

I also workout in the nude. Today for instance, I did some free weights, walked on the treadmill for 1 hour and did 500 situps on the Stayball. All nude with the exception of shoes and socks on the treadmill. Wish I could do this outside but still chilly around here.

I used to exercise nude on our treadmill before we gave it away for overall lack of use. I definitely enjoy nude hiking in the mountains when whether and time permit. I recently had knee surgery and I have realized I need some serious stretching, i.e. yoga or yoga-style stuff.

on days when i don't go to the Y to work out, i will sometimes do crunches -- nude of course. i have often said that if i could only do one exercise, it would be crunches, because keeping the abdominal muscles toned helps so much with posture and with avoiding back pain.
while i can't work out nude at the Y, i do take advantage of the opportunity to be naked in the locker room, shower, sauna, and steam room. unless i am extremely pressed for time, i always include time in the sauna when at the Y. i'd say about half the guys who use the steam/sauna do so nude.

I do my exercises at home nude since I am always nude at home. Although I would love to find a clothing optional Gym.
On another subject if I may, I'm thinking of try Yoga but don't know enough about it yet. Can one loose weight and keep in shape with Yoga alone or would I still need to do other exercises?
Thanks,
Michael:)

Yoga is a great exercise for stretching, breathing, and relaxing. Yoga is NOT a form of cardiovascular exercise. Doctors do not recommend doing Yoga in place of cardiovascular exercise. It is recommended to do yoga in addition to cardiovascular. Yoga doesn't aid in losing of weight and isn't an exercise to help with weight control.

Of course I prefer to exercise nude. I jog. At Cypress Cove I always do a nude run around the measured track. At Caliente(sp?) I always do their treadmill nude. I'm usually the only one fully nude doing any type of exercise. I've often wondered why others don't exercise nude. It is soooooooooooooooo!!!! much more comfortable. Back in 1999 I ran a 5K "Dare to go Bare" at Lake Como. Great fun for the whole day. A lot of visitors that day getting their first exposure to the nude social life. Great Fun!!!!! Nude Exercise: Try it. you'll like it.

i love to swim in the nude when i can. Icant do it at the rec center at school where i swim 3 nites a week. During winter we went to a nude swim at an indoor pool and i got a chance to swim speed laps in an olymic size pool.
i also run usually 2-4 miles every morning but never nude until recently. We spent 4 days at a resort and they had some nice nature trails and i got a chance to run naked. The only problem was that i didnt enjoy it like i thought i would. My problem was my breasts were bouncing around too much and im big but not huge there. i wound up running wearing just my sports bra, any other girls have that problem

Rikki, my wife does not run with me but if she did a sports bra would absolutely be a necessity. My wife is twelve years older than me and just this past year took steps to regain control of her physical fitness and quality of life destiny by having gastric surgery and changing her overall eating habits. I could not be happier with her changes, so I hope our future together will be even better and more active!

i do all kinds of sports nude when possible - at home or in natural surroundings: many game sports, swimming, running, hikings. but unfortunately my favorite one, capoeira, is done in a gym, and i don't know if nudity could be accepted there, so i don't try. but would be really cool. when i learn it good enough i should open a group of naked capoeira! :)

I went for a 7 mile hike yesterday 4 miles of it nude. Once you get out there a ways there are very few other hikers also I tend to do these on weekdays to reduce the chance of encounter. I really enjoy the feeling of hiking nude as the bodies cooling seems much more efficient in that the sweat evaporates evenly. No sweaty clothes to put up with at the end of it.
