New Nudes In The News Edition?

A few weeks ago (it seems to me) I read that there were a couple of new Nudes In The News episodes ready to go up as soon as the server issues were corrected. Well, it seems like the site is operating normally to me, so I was wondering when the new episodes will be posted?

We were having some server problems. We bought a new server to just do videos. We also upgraded our main editing computer and that was a chore.

We haven't stopped taping shows at all! We now have three shows just waiting to go up as soon as we can work out a few tech issues. We do promise 26+ shows a year but usually put out more than that. Stay tuned!! A new show will be up in a few days and another one about a week or less after that. Brian Spence just taped a show in Florida and is now in Ohio for a possible show there.

It would seem to me that after two months since the last update that it is past time get the problems fixed. At least you could update the still photos that have not changed since October.

Yeah i wonder if they are going to extend the membership of people who have paid for 2 months since they have put up zero new content. Problems are problems but paying members deserve better and should get extensions on their memberships. Plus 2 months is way too long to fix things. It sounds like there are more problems than just hardware ones. It doesn't take 2 months to get new servers online and hardware issues sorted out.

I know everyone is waiting for the new shows and photos. We have three really great shows ready to go up and more coming fast!

You may have noticed clothesfree.com has been going up and down during the last month and a half. We have a very popular site that was bogging down the server in Florida. We moved it to Arizona and the server there had the same problems and we had to separate clothesfree.com from the other sites as the videos were too much of a drain on that server so we put clothesfree.com on another server all by itself. Then we were getting hacked by some people from China. So we block China and then we saw we were still getting hacked by others in Australia who were downloading all 179 shows at once that was causing the server to stop. We then got an external firewall and we are monitoring that. Plus when we were looking for a new server we had problems finding a company that would allow simple nudity.

Tonight, you will see show #180. It is one of the best shows ever! Well worth the wait. Then a few days later you will see show #181 and new photos. Brian Spence and I have not stopped taping during the last month and a half. Brian taped a great show in Florida and then went to Ohio and just taped a show a at swim meet with a non-landed club. Just watched the update. Well-done!! My wife and I really like to see bloopers and outtakes, so thanks for including those. It just adds an extra dimension to the fun of nudism to see the nudecasters goofing up and having a good time.

As you probably know, I work in IT and know how frustrating computer problems can be. We've had some very frustrating server problems at work as well, so I feel your pain.

From previous posts and comments,I understand that this site was undergoing revision. It seems like it is taking "forever" to bring us the services that we had before the revised version. The photos have not been updated since October 15-almost 2 months ago. There is still no chat function. The weekly show issue has been discussed and "explained" but still only one new show in a while. Perhaps the departure of Corey and his web expertise took a bigger toll on this site than anticipated. I remain "patient" but would really like to have this site finally working like it did before the "new and improved version" was launched.

We have a new show from Florida and from Ohio! The Florida show was taped at the AANR offices.

Perhaps I am like the child who was given a nice big piece of candy only to have it taken away with a promise of "you can have it later". Once the members had the chat room, regular photo updates and near weekly shows, it is dishartening to have them taken away-for any reason. I have no doubt that the powers that be here at CFI are working to return the ammenities the members once had and enjoyed. Perhaps these were "above and beyond" what is promised but they were available when we joined. It is, however, undeniable that it has taken a very very long time to get the new site up and running. Personally, I am not computer savy enough to know what this all requires but I know that there are folks out there who can do this in a reasonable amount of time. Major corporations routinely overhaul their web sites and internal computer systems. Yes, they do expereince gliches but they are fixed in a reasonable amount of time. I believe that is all that I and the members of CFI are asking for.

We added new photos last night. Corky is editing three new Nudes in the Nudes shows and they will be up soon. We have not stopped taping, we just had a delay editing.

As far as chat goes, we are still trying to decide if we want to add live chat. Many members have told us they don't like a live chat feature. So, it's on the back burner for now. It may be added in the future.

I appreciate the quick response to these posts. As for the chats...if there are members who do not like the chat room function then they can not go to the chat room. Personally, I made several virtual friends in the chat room and miss the contact. I would definitely like to see the chat room function restored and moved from the back burner. I noticed you like to post up what you get with your membership. Here is how i see it. If I bought a membership 1 year ago and it was expiring today I would have got 22 new shows by my count. Not the 26+ you say you have provided. Just because you will eventually provide 26+ in a 1 year period doesn't mean there will be ex-members who will miss out because they bought at the wrong time and had to suffer through a 2 month long downtime. I wonder if you will do the right thing and extend the memberships of these people?

As for building sites. I have been in the IT business for 15 years owning my own company for 10. I have overseen numerous projects including network design and implementation, server rollouts, and website development. I think I know a thing or two about how long it takes to get a job done.

What I can't stand is the fact that there have been numerous promises and then excuses when those promises are not met. Don't string people along, telling them that 3 shows are going to be released in a short time frame and then not make it happen. You think after a couple months of serious issues you would have gotten you act together. But instead you pull out another excuse. Come on - Vista upgrade holding up getting a show done or uploaded? Maybe you should focus on getting the shows done instead of playing with Vista. Sounds like a load of BS to me but what do I know.

I never said my membership expired today. You were trying to gloss over the issues by posting membership benefits. I was pointing out that for some members they would not get all that was promised. Besides as a paying member I can complain when ever I wish if I think the service/content is substandard or there are other issues.

Well strangely after posting the above I went to log into my account to check out the new pictures and it doesn't work. So my guess is I am expired as I can't really remember when I signed up. In many cases, I agree with your point. There are many so-called "nudist" videos out there that I question why anyone would want to watch. They use the word "nudist" in them, but I think that they really cater to an audience that we don't want to be connected with.

Please check out CFI's "Nudes in the News" show. While I may be a bit biased, I find the show informative, entertaining, and packed with information about other nudists that you simply can't find complied into any other broadcast.

Those who know me personally, understand my feelings about WHOLESOME family nude recreation, and that I believe that we should have a zero tolerance policy while enforcing our family friendly environment. Many videos out there just plain conflict with that. However, in this case, I think that "Nudes in the News" not only promotes our brand of family nude recreation, but helps to educate the public about who nudists are, and what we are about.

I have spoken with many people who have purchased the archived shows on DVD either directly from clothesfree.com, or from amazon.com and they use these videos to show wholesome family nude recreation to their non-nudist friends. In todays media-rich society, having such a tool to explain your nude lifestyle to others is very valuable.

I, for one, enjoy both the pictures and the videos posted on this site because of the general quality and balance. So many of the so called "naturist sites" seem to contain only pictures of naked girls or women in "interesting" poses-hardly the natural pose or setting found here. This site presents balanced pictures of folks enjoying themselves-just happen to be naked! I enjoy the videos from various locations-for example I enjoyed seeing my local club, Shangra La featured . I was even suprised to see myself walking by one of the cars in the show :) I too, have been a nudist for a very long time now-pushing 19 years.

We enjoy the videos to check out some of the resorts and beaches. The same holds true with the pictures. At least it gives us an idea on where we might want to visit.

It would be nice to have a more honest assessment of some of the sites. While we understand that compliments build goodwill, we appreciate direct and honest feedback on the quality of the facilities. If it's mostly campground with some older buildings that need maintenance, let's just be honest and state it. While we aren't claiming we were misled, we were a little dismayed when visiting some resorts in Florida. I guess we all have our own assessment of facility quality.

The same, high quality reviews would be great for visiting beaches. If they are difficult to reach and nudity is tolerated but not 100% legal, let's state that. It would still be nice to see the beach and know how it "stacks up". I think it would be great if it included some footage of how to access it. This certainly would have saved us some effort in Hawaii.

Overall, the team provides very educational videos that stress positive, family values.

Personally, the shows "put me in" wonderful locales where I can enjoy the warm sun, sand and surf vicariously. I live in the midwest and it is near impossible for me to get to any of the wonderful sites shown in the videos. It is not watching to see nude people, as much as watching nude people have the kind of fun I would like to be having. :D

If the shows aren't always ready right on time, I just spend my time here in the forums. I love to watch the videos when they come out, but I'm not going to ***** because they are "late". I LOVE this site and everything about it: the videos, pics, forums, etc. and it is TOTALLY worth every cent I paid for it. Keep up the amazing work Corky and staff! :D

Oh yeah - forgot to mention. This is our first year as members and we are a little dismayed with the infrequent updates. We're reconsidering the renewal. As we viewed the dates of shows in past years, it seems they were more frequent. Maybe the frequency will improve.
