Sun Meadow resort is a wonderful nudist resort in north Idaho that we have enjoyed many times.
Worley Idaho is about 20 miles south of Coeur D'Alene very near the Coeur D'Alene Tribal Casino, a well known landmark in eastern WA and N. Idaho.
The resort is fairly new, I'm not sure when it was begun but the main lodge and pool area were built in just the last few years. The lodge is quite large, well appointed and has both an upstairs and downstairs areas for socializing. There is a large indoor pool, an outdoor pool (closed in the winter) and a large jacuzzi capable of holding maybe as many as 15 to 20 people.
The lodge includes a kitchen and entertainment area with a large screen for movies and TV. They have a pool table, a collection of movies and several decently appointed guest rooms available for overnight stay.
The thing that make this resort so great for us however are the people. In our short nudist careers we have found that nudists are a wonderfully warm group and the people at Sun Meadow are that and more. They were our first ever resort visit this summer. We'd been to nude beaches but never a resort and were pretty nervous when we arrived. There was no need. Terry and her husband Mike (who with Chaz and Margie are set to take over as owners in May) made us feel totally at home and welcome giving us just enough social interaction that first visit to feel welcome but enough privacy (we played pool while everyone else vsited) for us to take our time getting used to things.
Since our first visit we have been back many times. We caught the last day of sun this summer before the outdoor pool closed for the year, the halloween party, a music concert and Thanksgiving. We'll be at the Christmas and New Years Eve party as well. We plan to become full members after the first of the year.
We can't really say enough about this wonderful place. It is probably a bit out of the way from the more populated areas of Seattle and Portland but if you are ever even close to eastern WA or N. Idaho, it is so worth a visit. We'll see you there!
