Thanks for these videos. The first one is hilarious. All of them together illustrate that naturism in Europe is much more of a family activity than it is in the US.

This clip is from the Naturist Film 'Educating Julie'. It was made in the 80's the actors and producers are English. Its considered a classic. Its entertaining to watch though not a great movie. It shows the evolution of a young woman doing research on nudism for a college paper. She finds herself becoming more confident and comfortable in her own skin litterally. Her boyfriend on other hand has some issues. I would reccomend it. I know it is available for sale online also.

All these video clips and a bunch more are available on the French nudist website "Vivre nu". Although you may have a difficult time joining if you do not understand French.

I agree with "Educating Julie". The movie has been panned by many nudists as being irrelevant, poorly acted and directed or as "sending mixed messages". I think that's unfair; the director did her best with limited ressources and non-nudist actors (or non-acting nudists). The movie proved an invaluable resource when I first started exploring nudism; it cleared up my misconceptions and "Julie" gave my wife someone she could relate to.

Have you checked it out lately? I joined Vivre nu some time ago and downloaded a few clips including "Educating Julie" but lately it just seems to not function for me. Click a download and it takes to what looks like error message. No download. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but it is not obvious. Or maybe they've locked out U.S. ISPs.

The french clip (1st in last post by simonebs) is a very well done advertising clip from "France 4 naturisme" (the 4 refering to "for" (as in my nick), but of course that was too much for language-puritaine french, so now the four is just pronounced as four in french which has no other mean and hence the meaning of the 4 is lost, but alas, who cares) for the french naturist resort Arnachout (or in short just Arna as it is best known) on the french atlantic coast. Only french can make such an add, and notice the difference in advertising style for a typical french resort (family orient, lots of things to do, no hangups about children) vs the typical american one ((eldery) adults lounging at the pool and what else?, children - what is that?)


My favorite is the small boy in Dutch sauna.

Just for your reference, this is NOT a clip about dutch naturism, or nudism, or sauna-culture (although the scene is typical of some dutch sauna's - there is a large variety in how much bathrobes are worn, the typical sauna user complaining there is too much nude and naturist complaining there are too many bathrobes), but a so-called "kort-film" or short movie (= genre of movies) about some kind of awaking adolesence. Here is the text, line for line

There is only three words to describe this: SAD, SAD and SILLY. Here we have a very honest and top-quality PUBLIC video from a french resorts (compare that to the russian/ukrainian "family nudist videos" which are in the highly-dubious league), one that could show us what real naturism is about, but across the pond exactly this is forbidden and all you get to see is the same old members penis-gallery ("photo"-section on the right of the forums home page) as apparently representative of the sad and sagging state of american nudism.

I have got not other words.

The reason for moderation and deletion of two video links that I know of that have been deleted were explained in detail.

The first video deleted had nude under aged young minor children amongst adults.

CFF/CFI since last fall of 2007 does not allow anyone under the age of 18 years old nude or textile in images or video amongst others or adults nude due to restrictions with CFI merchant processor.


The most recent deletion was due to you posting a hyperlink/URL that contained a series of 6-7 "YouTube Video clips tied together one after another shown via hyperlinked click-able thumbnails at the bottom. The offending non related video was extremely vulgar, offensive, and contained language that could not be allowed to remain on CFF, or any public broadcast.

Unless you can separate appropriate media by its self to a stand alone URL/link, you cannot post hyperlinks that contain other inappropriate or tagged links shown in thumbnails and videos.

Mark, I'm talking about direct click-able thumbnail hyperlinks from the screen of the referenced posted video without any searching, going to host, favorites, or similar tagged video's which are often posted on "You Tube type video portals.

Some are actually self launching from one to the next without user interface.

YouTube, this threads "Veoh" and many others give you the option of posting, sending, or the source embedding URL directly to the video when posting.

This video link with have to be deleted as CFI'S merchant account processor has warned CFI against having any underage nude images, or video content on CFF or CFI. CFI administration has been pulling all underage content from stills and video content, and has instructed all moderators to delete such images, videos, and links to such content on CFF and CFI.

I'd like to, but I don't know if I can. It's getting harder and harder to find clips that met my personal standards and won't get deleted. I see another clip got deleted for having minors, even though they were only on screen for a few seconds. I'd be really interested to know what the merchant account processor would do to us if we actually showed families, instead of just adults. Like I said earlier we can't convince people that nudism is family-friendly if anything with anyone under 18 is removed.

Yet I've noticed you're the only one doing it. The first clips that got banned for having minors were up for almost a month and nothing was doing. I'm sure that was plenty of time for the other moderators to see and do something about it. I wonder why? Except for the most recent ones (which I haven't seen yet but will soon) there has not been anything objectionable about any of the videos posted. I also agree with the comments about links. Any link can go somewhere objectionable if we click enough times. While we don't need to be "anything goes" I also think we will be hurting ourselves if we get too stringent. There is a reasonable middle ground.

If you know of a reputable merchant services provider who would not interfere, I'm sure Corky is interested.

There is nothing objectionable in non-sexual images of naturist families including children. But that doesn't matter to the Merchant Service people. CFI has made it clear that it doesn't agree with their prohibition, but has no recourse unless or until a new provider is located.

I'm sure Corky and the moderators are first in line among the people who want to see the policy changed.

I'm not trying to challenge or call anybody out. I'm merely pointing out what I feel is an injustice to me and this entire site. Very cool clips, thank you for sharing. I'd especially love to know where the badminton one came from. I assume it's a piece of something larger. In bugged me enough I went to wikipedia and it seems that both badmington and badminton are accepted spellings. Years ago there was a set of about five videos of "naturist France" that I always though looked good but I could never affort them. I wonder if it came from that?

the narrator sounds australian, refers to the sport as in southern france (where summers are hot and racket sports are played in the evening - the narrator claims), the two girls are dutch (in general, if you see naturist youth in settings like this the chance that they are either dutch or german is > 75%)

= the experience of fkk (=naturist) test"panel" (Fanny and Alexander) at 4 different naturist areas around the east-german city of Dresden. They interview different people and talk about how they experience the areas, why they enjoy naturism etc. Around 3:30 the couple talks about why the like especially that area: young people, can make your own little bon fire, diy-bbq, you are yourself, no-one meddling around.
The clip is VERY typical of german (/dutch) naturism, where naturism is much more a "daily" thing rather then something ONLY for a summer vacation (like in e.g. in france/spain) and people are very relaxed about. Also you notice there is always a lot going on - not the typical "lounging at the pool" thing.

To me, the nude family (kids included) in image and video gives legitimacy to any site that calls itself family friendly. Children mixed with adults makes it seem more like true nudism/naturism than just a bunch of adults.:)

Click a download and it takes to what looks like error message. No download. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but it is not obvious. Or maybe they've locked out U.S. ISPs.

Is there a way I can save these to a CD to share with others?

For those wishing to save these files: It's slightly involved, but it works.

This works for YouTube files. I haven't tried it with files from any other source.

1 - Clear out your TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES FOLDER to make the file easier to find.

2 - PLAY the video you wish to save COMPLETLEY, so that it is written to your TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES FOLDER.

3 - OPEN the TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES FOLDER.

4 - Look for a ridiculously long file name, starting with the words, "get video".

5 - Copy or drag the file to an empty folder.

6 - When you do this, the file name will change to simply "get_video[1]".

7 - Add the extension .FLV to the file: get_video.flv (Flash Video)

8 - Download a FREE Flash Video Player from the Web, if you don't already have one. (There are tons of them.)

9 - Play your file in the Flash Video Player.

10 - You may rename your file anything you wish, BUT it must have the .FLV extension.
Each one you try to capture will start out as "get_video[1]".

GOOD LUCK!

When I dragged the file to a new folder, it dropped the long name and left only 7377563[1].flv -- and it played.

This won't help you much, but....

Your TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES folder is a HIDDEN folder under DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\OWNER\LOCAL SETTINGS.

There are settings in WinDOZE to SHOW all your hidden folders, so you can access them.

You are going to need the help of a computer literate friend. Sorry.....

It's really not that difficult if you know your way around your Hard Drive and know where to look. I'm no genius. Self-taught, over many years of trial and error. You just keep building on what you already know.

I've tried some of those, too, but in my experience, some of them were undependable, or were "down," and the links to them were dead.

I was offering an alternative way which is foolproof and in which you have more control.

That's the problem with computers: There are a dozen ways to accomplish things, and all of them are correct.

I wouldn't want to have anthing to do with the lifting, priating & reposting of this partial clip from a registered and copyrighted, and protected full length nudist video named "Educating Julie" produced in 1984, and still being activitly marketed on re-mastered DVD media format.

I purchased the full length version on VHS Tape many years ago, and also have a trailer of this and several other nudist video's on CD VCD format offered for sale as "Passport to Naturist Recreation" by the defunct company and site "Nude Places TV

I read an update on Bianca...but that was some time ago; maybe a year or two after the documentary. She was attending college, had not returned to nudism (sigh), but was planning on revisiting her experience after college. Overall good documentary, but with an unfortunate focus on some bleak aspects - or rather elements - in nudism.

Best part: when she finally decides to join in, puts her reservations behind, and joins the nudist group. The smile on her face as she embraces her nude experience is priceless. I've seen that same smile on newbies just discovering nudism, and it's truly heart-warming.

I too thought it was a great video! I would love to hear some comments on the statments made by the guy who likes to shave. I feel nudity can be non-sexual in most situations. Does he think nudity is always sexual? Just a thought.

I know that these clips aren't nudist, but we've had many topics about breastfeeding and being cool about it goes along with naturism. These all must have happened before I was born, because I don't remember ever seeing this. I don't know of any other children's shows that have done this before. Unfortunately, nobody would try to do this today.

I watched the National Geographic one. I liked it except for the word "taboo". The original meaning (from somewhere in the pacific) was something so extremely holy you shouldn't mess with it. The modern meaning is something very, very, wrong. Neither apply to naturism.

Viral videos don't have to be racy, but many are. Viral just refers to how they spread from person to person like a virus. One person sends it to 3 friends who send it to a few friends and so on, like that one guy who comes into work sick and than a week later half of the office and even some of those people's families are sick.

I've checked both out and there doesn't seem to be any virus or security problem. They are ad supported so there is a pop-up when you begin the video - nothing objectionable though. Just close it.

Thanks for the links, everyone who provided them. Would anyone care to join me in a disappointed head-shaking at the way the programme presented nudity as something bizarre and creepy? I got as far as the weird two-way mirror setup (with spooky music) before I gave up...

I suppose they couldn't have made such a long programme out of getting the folks to just strip off and socialise for a few days :/

Karln, it's a pity you did not finish the video. It is a full hour and probably used up all my download allowance but I think it was well worth it. This video explores the "fuss" about nudity, it goes to Africa and explores Charles Darwin's evolution theories about why we are hairless and when we became hairless, it explores with scientific DNA methods when pre human apes etc became hairless, it explores human sexuality re nakedness by discussing how apes etc find sexual attraction in their hairy females , and how humans find sexual attraction in clothed humans without their genitals exposed.

It explores shame, embarrassment, etc.

I think this video could be used in seminar situations with discussions after to debate the opinions expressed

I agree with OZ! I watched the entire movie yesterday and thought that is did a great job exploring the subject. In the end all 8 of the participants were comfortable being naked around each other and 6 of the left the house naked to go home. If this had been a US documentary, the fuzzy parts would have deminished that subject.

Watched the video and found it interesting, especially how much "green" paint ended up being used when the they did the bodypainting. The participants certainly reached a high comfort level with nudity in a relatively short period of time.

Overall, the BBC documentary was very well done.

The film's evolutionary/DNA claims were a little shaky insofar as there are no preserved specimens of lice to really draw the conclusions they were trying to make.

Nonetheless, the movie was an excellent analysis of some the possible social, psychological and cultural basis for society’s feelings on nudity.

Truly enjoyed the video and the research being done about nudity. I found the results of the studies done for this video to be very encouraging for those of us who enjoy the nudist lifestyle in that firstly we are not born with any sexual modesty. Secondly, as the video pointed out that social nudity increased comfort levels as the people were exposed to it more and for longer periods of time. All the subjects became more comfortable the longer they were nude together. The one statement that made my heart sing was the statement that the state of nudity is the state of being totally human (paraphrase for the gist of the message).

Further, to know that as nudists we are shifting the boundaries of clothed versus naked and that we can change perceptions and comfort levels by changing the boundaries.

Very good video and good to know that research is on-going about the naked human body.

Thanks for posting the new clips. As an English Canadian, I can pretty much understand the essence of the French that's being spoken in the vids. But what a shame that this company or website (VivreNu?) doesn't subtitle its videos so more people can understand the narration and interviews. They are quality vids about the naturist experience.

What a fun idea! Now all they need is an optional back door on the booth into an area where the newbies can meet each other nude to congratulate each other on their courage and chat about how cool it is to feel free being nude together!

On the other vids, good idea about subtitles. The "Harmonie respect et liberté (http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x9ez1d_harmonie-respect-et-liberte_people)", for example, is quite well written. Some of the phrases , like "baigneurs en maillot" ("bathers in suits"), offer a fun flip-perspective that, used more in English, might help blur the "nudist" vs "textile" battlelines. Similarly, the "being in natural harmony with nature" voice-over sounds very current and, combined with images of people sometimes nude and sometimes dressed for river rapids, makes the nude time sound all the more natural and logical.

Thanks Nudistfan2001. The movie was interesting. I'm not sure if I understood the ending, but I really liked it overall. Even with the language barrier you can follow what's going on. And great scenery! The beaches and the water was beautiful.

If you buy the Dvd it has English Chinese Japanese sub titles if you Google in the movie it will show subs titles it has.
Also you need a Dvd player that can play it since it can't play on American Dvd player (it was not released in America) :disappointed:

Here is a link to a Movie called La Fonte des neiges you can find it on DailyMotion i Google it on video and it came up. Virtually none of the members go coercing the newies to get their kit off the minute they walk through the front gate. I believe that nudist clubs ought to let the newies go at their own pace with the nudity as the 'must strip' rules tend to turn off a lot of people who want to try it.

That was an excellent video on how the locals viewed the Woodstock crowds. They were mentioned as being a non-rowdy and sociable group of 'kids' that kept to themselves. The swimming/skinny dipping was just an added enjoyment. Very nice video. Thanks for sharing.:smoking:
