That could just as easily be me. I am an electronics engineer and computer programmer and I do not have any issues with the geek label.

Shows that nudists are in every walk of life. If you havent noticed, we also come in all shapes and sizes. Isnt it wonderful.

I also am a geek, I am currently in high school, and don't really care if I am labeled a geek, I am proud to be the person I am. I have more electronics than any of my friends (they are all jealous of me). I have a gaming neon lit desktop computer which I built, A laptop, PSP, Playstation, Playstation 2, Palm Tungsten E2, And when I do where clothes, I were dress shirts or polo to school. And I don't care about fitting in.

And I don't care about fitting in.
Fitting in is highly over-rated. Why should I do something just because everyone else is doing it?

Most of the people at my school, don't really care about anything, including who is elected for president, their money, their grades, etc... why would any level headed person want to fit in with that. Not trying to change to geek subject. I care alot about my grades, and I am not so focused on my peers, but on my future. Which I plan to be very successful in life.

If being a "geek" means being single-mindedly devoted to one subject or another, such as a "band geek", "science geek" or "computer geek" then isn't everyone basically a geek?

I'm listening to CoasttoCoastAM(.com) radio show right now and a discussion about time travel and a simple time displacement device ANYONE can buy right now. Does that make me an "fringe science geek"? I really hope so!!

I know I am a "nudism geek" and I don't think anyone who knows me would find this to be a bad thing, discouraging or "weird".

Enjoy!
