I live at the extreme north west part of MS, and there is nothing around here. I know from working at the Sheriff's dept years ago that folks around here can be pretty hostile about nudity.

There was talk about someone starting a small private resort south of Columbus, but I haven't been able to find any information about it.

I don't know where Moss Point is, but I think it's near the gulf.

Ship Island, about 12 miles off the coast of Gulfport. Take the ferry & when you disembark, hike about 1 mile to the east. This is an unofficial nude area, but the Nat'l Parks service & the rare Harrison County sheriff will not bother you.

I've been there and it was nice, but I hear it received quite a bit of damaged from the big hurricanes a couple years ago, so you would want to check on its status before heading off down there to take the trip out to the island. If anyone knows of the islands status let us know. I'm heading down to Biloxi this weekend, so I'll try to find out about it myself.

The Sandy Bares Travel Club is a family-oriented non-landed club, affiliated with the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR)and the Naturist Society (TNS). Sandy Bares Travel Club is based in Mississippi, however you don't have to be a Mississippi resident to be a part of our club. At present we have members from across a three state area. The club is not (and will not be) a swinging or sex-oriented club. We welcome couples, singles and families who enjoy being together to socialize, enjoy sports, games and family activities. Because we are an AANR club, if you are married, we prefer you join as a couple.

We enjoy visiting Ship Island, landed clubs, club members' homes and who knows? We are, after all, work in progress"! To keep members informed, we plan to publish a newsletter quarterly.

My family and I are nudists in Mississipp. Other than Sandy Bares, there is no other clubs/resorts in the state. Sandy Bares seems to be a couples travel group from what I understand. There is a nudist park three hours from us in Alabama, but they don't accept single men. I'm 21 and I live at home because I'm still in college, but they wouldn't allow me to visit the park with my family!
