Only 59% of FEMALES have seen their mothers naked? That can't be right - or can it? I wonder what the percentage would have been if asked 10, 20 or 50 years ago. I'd guess it would be much higher than 59%.

I figured it was too high...although procrastinator seems to think it's too low. I hadn't taken into account women seeing their Mom nude. So now I'm really not so sure!

Perhaps...a higher percentage of women have seen their Mom nude, offsetting the low amount of men who have seen their Mom nude. Then maybe 44% is not so unlikely.

I was referring only to the female respondents. I find it incredible that slightly fewer than 6 in 10 females have ever seen their mothers naked. I just can't believe that percentage is correct.

Sadly, I think that even same sex members of families never seeing each other nude may become the norm not to far in the future (if it's not here already). In the past, houses very often had one bathroom, sometimes necessitating same sex members using it at the same time. Typically, no one though twice about it. Today's houses are being built with larger than ever, with multiple bathrooms. This removes the opportunity that people had in the past to accept and become comfortable with casual nudity and seeing others nude.

Well, that's my theory, anyway.
