Halloween in Fl

Three and four years ago my wife and I were at Paradise Lakes in Fl for the Halloween fetivaties and had the time of our live's. We're thinking about making plans for the 08 party but have heard that things may have quieted down there and we don't wan't to make the trip for nothing. We have also heard that Caliante had a great party also. Does anyone know which one of the two is better and has Paradise changed owners and gotten pruddish? Thanks, Tracker

Paradise Lake was recently sold to a long time member and resident. From my understanding, Paradise Lake was a clothing optional resort with a bit of a swingers feel to it. Although, PL never advocated or catered to swingers but it was widely popular among swingers. Despite the fact that PL never advocated the lifestyle, they did provide the activities and events to get swingers to keep coming.

Also, to make revenue, PL was known for its dances and parties. They would hire local bands and make the party open to the general public. That being said, members and visitors had to deal with non nudist who come to PL to party.

Anyhow, the new owner is making new changes. Apparently he was never too happy with the party/swinger atmosphere of PL and is making changes to make it a more family oriented upscale resort. Although everyone is welcome, the swinger/party atmosphere will no longer be condoned.

I wouldn't call it "pruddish".

I'd say....Paradise Lakes has taken it's first step in curing it's long standing swinger plauge.
