Does Anyone hate wearing anything and everything ??
for ex: no wearing clothes, no jewerly, no hats, etc ?
Do you think it makes a person a better naturist and better nudist the less they wear in total ??
I like wearing a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, sometimes shoes depending where, and a smile.
Besides being 100% clothes free what else do you all wear ??

My fashion statement is to wear bluejeans and a Nike t-shirt. In warm weather it is shorts and the same kind of t-shirt. These shirts don't tend to wear out as fast as other brands and I don't like shopping for clothing.

Yea, I hate wearing anything at all times, but just not able to. When at a nude outing I try to wear as little as possible, but you have to wear protection, even though you may not feel naked. One may not feel like they are not entirely naked when wearing protection, but try walking out in public wearing just a hat, sunshades and sandals. lol I doubt you get very far.
There are times I'm totally nude, meaning not even a ring or sunshades. It's truely a different feeling. But protection is the key, even though you may not feel you are totally nude.:smoking:

I don't hate wearing clothes, but I do enjoy being nude. In my case the desire to be nude is a positive one, attracting me to the naked state rather than a discomfort in being clothed.

i don't have any kind of "fashion sense". i wear clothes basically because i have to...either because of society/work or because it protects me from certain elements--like right now it's 28 degrees out and inside the heat hasn't quite caught up so i have clothes on even though i'm at home alone.
i do not like shopping for clothes...and i don't own any kind of variety...basically i have different colors of the same things because i find it hard enough to find clothes that fit the way i like them too yet still look good so when i find it i buy multiples.
i do not like jewelry...i never wear it! hats, well i only like ballcaps and i never wear those. shoes, i prefer my birkenstocks...the only nudist places i have ever been to are german saunas and i just wore waterproof sandals.

Bobby,
If I could be nude all the time I would. Personally, I don't consider things like jewelery or hats as clothing. I never remove my wedding ring. My "Pray for our Troops" wristband never comes off, as well as a magnetic wristband. I quite often wear an ankle bracelet, whether I'm nude or not.
As far as a hat, I do wear a ball cap, or more broad brimmed hat, depending on where I am. At the beach I wear something more broad. It's simply practical for protection from the sun on my ever diminishing hairline.
I'm barefoot almost all the time, even when I have to wear clothes. I figure during those times, at least my feet can be naked.
In my book, hats and accessories don't interfere with the definition of being nude. When we're on our vacation at the beach, and I walk away from the house, nude, save for the items mentioned above, and walk down the beach, I think I would fit most people's description of being totally nude.

I prefer to be nude as often as possible. I do wear a broad brimmed hat if it's extremely hot, and sunglasses and sandals for protection from the heat. I do have some nice suits and sport coats for when the occasion requires them.

Glasses also or I really can not see a lot.

For most of the hours in a day, I prefer to be nude and relaxed. Being outdoors one has to have protection of course, but that and jewlery can't be classified as clothing. Just being naked with a smile on my face is good enough for me.

Unless it's too cold, I prefer to wear nothing but wedding ring and shoes. For some reason I just can't get into not wearing shoes when at club, or nude outside anywhere else for that matter.

I don't hate clothes. But when I go nude, I prefer to wear nothing: even the jewelry comes off. I will wear a hat and sunglasses; but only if the sun is blazing hot without a cloud in the sky. Gotta protect the bald head!:D

I do find the lack of shoes including "flip-flops" makes me feel the "most naked" and this was really evident at a tattoo and body piercing event we attended last year. While indoors checking out the tattoo artists, their subjects, their work-in-progress and their sketchbooks, I left my sandals somewhere and went barefoot on a linoleum floor. The coolness of the floor was a somewhat unfamiliar feeling because I often wear sandals at home to avoid stepping on random pieces of kitty litter that occasionally turn up, and to spare myself of the dirty-feet-must-be-washed chore before putting on actual shoes to go somewhere.
The coolness of the floor seemed to radiate up my calves and into my knees, and even the view of my feet seemed somehow different as I glanced down and observed their appearance against the nearly colorless flooring. I must have been in an artistic frame of mind that day! My feet looked "paler" than normal and the cool sensation intertwined with "the look" of them in my mind. It was fun! I stood on my tip-toes a couple of times to spare my heels from the cool and, I think, to allow the cool sensation to "focus" on the balls of my feet and then "set" that particular feeling into my memory. This may sound a little odd, to be cognizant of such a subtle and inconsequential difference in feelings, but it was "part of" my experience for that specific day and as such would never occur again (either for the "first time" or in the same way).
Yes, undoubtedly I will be barefoot on linoleum again and it may very well be at next year's tattoo and piercing event, ah no wait, it actually already happened - weekend before this last one I was barefoot in the same building while it snowed outside (and even dashed from the hot tub building to the main hall barefoot) and it was FUN AGAIN!
So, do I hate clothes? Not really. Would I rather be nude anytime? Absolutely. It would be a challenge for me to impress upon others, as in a business setting, that I really (truly) did not care about my state of undress, AND I think it would be fun to see each person's reaction as I went about my ordinary daily routines HONESTLY without caring about my lack of clothes.

I'd love to be all nude all the time.
But hey, if the sand is too hot, I'll wear sandals. If a part of my body threatens to get burnt, I'll cover it up or move into the shade.

If warm enough, I don't like anything on, not even shoes or sandals.
However, even in warm weather, I generally need foot and eye cover. When using equipment, I need foot, eye and ear protection. In cooler weather, add a hat. A little cooler yet, add a long sleeved shirt, open in front. Tad colder, button the shirt. Colder yet, add some pants (awful!).

Having less on doesn't make you a "Better Nudist".
We all wear what we have to when circumstances dictate. And we all have different levels of tolerance when it comes to exposure to the sun, or walking on hot or rocky ground. If part of being a nudist is about comfort, then it wouldn't make sense to be uncomfortable with a sun burn or sore feet just to be "more naked".
In parts of my garden I can work totally nude. In other parts I wear shorts. Wearing shorts doesn't make me less of a nudist. It just makes me less nude.
I usually go bare foot when ever possible. But putting on a pair of shoes to prevent my feet from being injured doesn't change who I am.

I dont feel less nude with a ring or two on. I also wear glasses even in the water unless there is a real danger of losing or breaking them. At home its usually slippers on my feet around the house just to keep them warm in winter and when the air conditioning is on. Outdoors its sandals or athletic shoes and when Im in an area where I wont have any problems with feet I like bein barefoot. Sometimes add a hat when the sun is relentless. From my experience most people tend to wear footwear or have them close at hand when nude outdoors. As for the rest of me, the more thats uncovered the better. I love living nude.

When hiking naturally I wear shoes, shades, and a bandana. On long hikes I also wear a comfortable cloth belt to hang my water bottle on. My GF took some pics of me in my "hiking attire." She says I probably look ridiculous to anyone who has never done any nude hiking, but the accessories are a matter of necessity and/or utility.

During the summer months, I wear a hat and sunglasses. Wear sandles only for walking on rocky paths and asphalt. When visiting my local club during the winter months, no need for hats, sunglasses, or sandles. Just my reading glasses.

When hiking you kinda have to wear shoes.I tried sandles once and it was not a good idea. You have to be practical when being nude, for your own protection.Simple things like jewlery and hats should not be considered clothing as long as there's a purpose.

it really depends on where you are when you are nude. If I am at home then the only thing I will have on is my wedding ring, which never comes off, and my neck chain, given to me by my wife. If I am outside then I wear a hat (ran out of hair follicles years ago, don't want a sunburn!!), and some type of footwear for protection. I live in the south and the sun can be very bruttle, sometimes you just cant stay out in the sun that long without covering up. I like to be nude; hate to be burned!

When I go to the nude beach or a nudist resort I often wear a baseball hat and a my sharks tooth necklace that I often wear to any beach, textile or nude. When I used to run the Fig Leaf 5K in Georgia I would wear sneakers as I don't feel comfortable walking that kind of cross country type terrain barefoot.

I prefer to have nothing on at all. But I am not married as of yet, so when that happens, the ring stays on. I ware no jewelry, watches, or sunglasses. But then again I am a beginner nudist deciding this is the life for me just the second day of this year.
When needed I will ware sunglasses and a hat and whatever I will have to replace pockets for future trips. I don't have to like it tho. :p
Else I keep my dress simple. Jeans and a tee-shirt. Most often with a slogan or some other art on the tee.

Well, for starts, I've got nothing against clothes: I've got a lot of nice sports jackets, good trousers, sharp shirts, neat ties, jeans, flannel shirts, denim work shirts ... the whole wardrobe. Actually, I've got too much stuff, and need to simplify ...
I do a lot of writing, and I do most of the writing at home; and there I often don't wear anything at all -- as long as it's not cold. But I hate to be cold. If I am, I put on shoes and socks; if I'm still cold, I add jeans and a t-shirt. (Would you believe that there are conversations among serious writers about what they wear when they're getting their work done? And it covers, er, the territory: some wear nothing at all; some are most comfortable when they're wearing jeans and a shirt; there are those who dress up in trousers, shoes, shirt and tie.)
When I'm at a clothes free place, I prefer stark naked. But not quite: I have a silver bracelet that I enjoy wearing all the time, so I almost always at least have that on my right wrist. If I'm in the sun, I've probably got a hat or cap. If the terrain has stones, and it often does, then I need something on my feet except when I walk on the grass or on asphalt when it's cool. If I'm jogging, I'll wear running shoes and socks and that's it. (I loved being at White Tail Park, because the roads there are almost all covered with fine white sand and I could go barefoot just about everywhere.)
And then I need my glasses or sun-glasses.
When I want to "dress up" when I'm undressed I like to wear a celtic armband or one of several ankle bracelets. Once I was invited to a naked party, so I wore a black bow tie around my neck -- and nothing more.
As with most things, it all depends. I try to wear at least a smile :).

The question brings back one of my best nudist memories. While vacationing at Club Orient on Saint Martin, several mornings I got out of bed just after sunrise and went for a run down the beach. My wife had confiscated my wedding ring because she thought I might lose it while swimming. I didn't need my watch and running on a sandy beach is best done barefoot. I remember reaching the far end of the beach and taking a quick swim to cool off. I then realized that I had nothing with me that I hadn't been born with and my nearest possessions were about a mile away. If a shark had eaten me, there wouldn't have been anything that he couldn't digest. I'm equally nude in the shower everyday, but it was extraordinary to be that way in a public location so far from everything that I own.

I have also had that experience in St. Martin. When you go all the way to end of Orient Beach and realise that you are at least a mile away from everything. I usually do this very early in the morning at sun up or just before. I am very often the only one on the beach.

I prefer to be as naked as the day I was born without wearing jewelry or anything else. Watches kill the mood of relaxation. This doesn't make me a "better" naturist, it is just my preference. Sometimes it is practical to wear something for the sake of protection or comfort such as shoes, sunscreen or a hat. Unfortunately it is often cold where I live so I will wrap a blanket around my shoulders to save on heating. One day I will live where it is warm:)

Hello Betterman. I agree with you mostly. When I am at either a nudist resort or nude or free beach, I literally wear nothing if the weather permits. But since I mainly visit these places during the summertime, I am successful in almost all of my excursions. Since I am not married, I wear no jewelry at all. I am not into hats or caps at all, but I carry an umbrella if it rains. I only wear shoes at a resort if I am playing a sport like volleyball on a court to save my feet on a hot day. But I only wear clothes when I go to work or into town when I have to. My main thing is blue jeans and Hawaiian shirts along with athletic shoes. I only shop for clothes when I absolutely have to. For example, I replace clothes that I have outgrown or if they are destroyed in some manner.

First time this season, I was all naked. Came home from doing Streamwatch (those sites are generally too public to do this naked), and it was such a nice day that I stripped my shirt off (drove home with no shoes or pants) and walked down along the creek with no shoes, nothing on. My feet are lilly white yet.
