Twelve years ago, living in Connecticut, I discovered an outcropping of rocks in Miller's Pond, near Durham, that had frequent nude use. I'm moving back to Connecticut soon and wonder if anybody knows the status of this location - is it still used for nude sunbathing? Any issues with police or townspeople? Thanks for any information anyone can provide.

There is a Yahoo group, Connecticut Naturists (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/connaturists) . Perhaps someone there can tell you.

I ran a search using Nudist Explorer (http://www.nudistexplorer.com) and I found a couple of postings that indicate that nudists in Connecticut don't have public land available to them. Looks like your only hope is to do some discreet swimming and sunbathing in isolated public places or to hook up with a local nudist travel club and find some private land.
