AANR East elections/CFF Members needs our support

I am asking you to help and support a great naturist that we have the honor of knowing, he is a member of this site and others. Walt Iliff will be seeking election on the board of directors of AANR East as its Member Trustee. I fully endorse him and know that he will do a fantastic job.

As some of you may know our current member trustee Bill Williamson is not in good health. He has dedicated and committed a huge part of his life and energy to positive forms of naturism. His service to AANR and naturism will be appreciated by all.

Even though Walt will have big shoes to fill, there is no doubt in my mind that he will grab the ball and run with it. He is a huge supporter of the youth leadership camps, and his devotion to it is evident to anyone that speaks with him.

CANDIDATE STATEMENT

I would very much appreciate the opportunity to represent the membership of AANR East on the AANR Board of Directors as your Member Trustee. My work at the regional level for AANR East has been extraordinarily fulfilling, and I would like to bring my energy and expertise to the national organization. While I am interested in all aspects of AANR’s management, I am particularly concerned with assuring that programs benefiting AANR’s younger members be continued, expanded if possible, and receive adequate funding and national support. I would be proud to represent the members of AANR East, and I thank you in advance for your support.

I bring to the table a variety of life experiences along with technical and people skills that will prove helpful in contributing to the team that is AANR-East. I’m new enough to remember what it’s like to be a “newbie” and I've been around long enough to start to get a clue about the depth of resources and experiences that are available within AANR-East. I, along with my wife, spent several years working with teens both within our local church and with the local community. Young people will always hold a special place in my heart and I will fully support those who can connect with them more directly. I’m a firm believer that if we are to grow as a movement and as an organization we must make a conscious effort both collectively and individually to offer the hand of friendship and community just a little beyond what our comfort zone. I have witnessed the success of this philosophy in my home club as I reached out to someone just a bit younger than I and he in turn reached out to someone a bit younger than he. Now that individual is a Youth Ambassador and a year later we’ve had the privilege of seeing several more young people. I’m just as fond of those who remain young at heart yet offer us the benefit of years of wisdom and experience. Wherever possible I want to strengthen the glue that holds us all together!

As a Director I will leverage the outstanding Youth Ambassador program to not only draw new folks in but to revitalize and reenergize us all. I will leverage new and existing technologies to improve our communication both within and without. With improved communication I will help you to put your money where your mouth is because AANR-East is after all a member run organization. I am determined to be one of those that make a difference in the cause of naturism. Won’t you join me in growing AANR-East as a multi-generational family?
