Ys, it is a bizarre story, esp. with the boyfriend not doing anything for so long. I would think she had some kind of advanced case of agoraphobia. Very sad.

Man, if I hadn't of read it, I wouldn't have believed it. How sad. How could this guy, this so-called "boyfriend" have gone on without seeking help? Where are all the others that should have been in their lives? People that would recognize that things were wrong. How does that level of isolation and enabling behavior go on for two years without someone noticing?

I'm not sure I believe it still. I know that often dysfunction seeks dysfunction, but this is just tres weird!

Yep This is one of the strangest stories I've ever heard of.

This part in the story:
Authorities said they did not know if she was mentally or physically disabled.
She definitely has has to have a mental problem.
What could she possibly of done all day.

As a side note, I sure hope they had a 2 bathroom house.

That is a very strange and serious problem! I hope she gets some help. Having worked in a setting where we were changing diapers on adults, I anticipate that she has more physical problems now than just that of the toilet seat being stuck to her behind. I hope she has good medical coverage!

I still find it hard to believe. Both of these people need mental help, and lots of it. How could someone sit in the same place for that long? And just think how bad she must have smelled. I still can't believe it. He needs to be in a mental hospital for letting her do that. This is one of those strange but true stories and maybe she can some kind of world record for the longest toilet sitter..Who knows how these people lived like that? The inevitable 'charges' are being recommended by the local sheriff in this case of neglect/abuse of a dependent person for the boyfriend.

I heard this morning (talk radio) that she actually was on the toilet for about a month, but was in the bathroom for about 2 years. And yes when the paramedics came, they said the place stunk to high heaven.
