You would think that if it really existed in any meaningful sense the media wouldn't have to work so hard to concoct it or set up situations in which they can allege Islamophobia and as Ayan Hirsi Ali says, persecuted peoples leave countries for other lands historically but Muslims are leaving the Middle East and still coming the West in large numbers (to escape intolerance and oppression).

"THE HAGUE, 07/03/08 - Public broadcaster BNN deliberately misled viewers in a film clip about a woman in a burqa, the all-covering Muslim garment.

In a mini-film on 101tv, BNN's digital youth channel, a woman is seen who is helped immediately when she drops her bag of oranges. The same woman in a burqa however gets no help when the same thing happens to her. The journalist said she felt discriminated against when wearing the burqa.

But Amsterdam broadcaster AT5 discovered deception. AT5 cameras that recorded the BNN filming show that many passers-by wanted to help the woman in the burqa. When they did so, the makers called out to them to walk on."

More media attempts to stage a story here...this time NBC, famous for the Dateline fakery.

"I have been talking with a producer of the NBC Dateline show and he is in the process of filming a piece on anti-Muslim and anti-Arab discrimination in the USA. They are looking for some Muslim male candidates for their show who would be willing to go to non-Muslim gatherings and see if they attract any
discriminatory comments or actions while being filmed.

They also want someone who is fairly well accomplished and has contributed to American society at large in some meaningful way."

I don't get how sending Muslim men to a football game or NASCAR event is staging the news. If they ask the other guys to say something it's staged, but if they just film the guys and whatever happens happens, what's fake about that. The right-wingers have been talking about how liberals are out of touch and "real Americans" are the NASCAR fans, they even referenced the voting block of "NASCAR Dads" as a block that helped Bush win in 2004.

MSM wants to play on the stereotype of the ignorant bigoted NASCAR fan, a creature of which they have little comprehension. Recruiting victims with accomplished resumes and then putting them in a place to provoke a reaction is getting very close to actually manufacturing news rather than reporting it. No doubt they are told how to dress and how to play victim. In the Dutch example they actually started directing the participants on how to act to 'get the story.' If there was real Islamophobia they wouldn't be having to recruit people and stage such incidents.
