Teen runs acrosss frozen lake naked for $300 bet; gets $750 fine

Eighteen-year old John Greeley was challenged to run across the frozen Silver Lake, completely naked for $300 (http://www.todaystmj4.com/news/local/16694021.html) by his father. Unfortunately, a police officer saw it and gave him a $750 citation.

The lawyer's fees and court costs would mostly likely be more than the $750.00 fine.
That's how they make their monies and how the use inappropriate statutes to do so.
Make it prohibitively expensive monetarily and socially that most can not or will not "buck" the system.

"Smart" financial decision to pay the fine - horrid personal decision.
