View Full Version : Total body comfort / freedom

Each person is the sum total of his/her experiences. When I add up the effects, over many years, of my nudist experiences (many of them in public settings), my sexual experiences and my medical experiences (being viewed, poked and prodded), the total comes to complete comfort with my body.
On the assumption that I would not be subject to arrest and people would not be unduly offended, I would be willing to do anything naked that I would do clothed. I would be willing to go anywhere naked that I would go clothed. (All subject to health, safety and environmental considerations of course.)
I would feel no embarrassment, no shame; rather, I would feel a sense of liberation, and pride in the unique machine that is my body.
Who would be right up there with me?

Gary,
I for one agree with you. If it was legal to be nude anywhere, any time, and there was no fear of being attacked and beaten like Steve was in England, and the weather was agreeable, I see no need to be clothed. To me the only sensible purpose for clothes is to protect us from adverse weather. This is a nice dream--but only that, unfortunately. However, where would I carry my wallet and keys?

I given the chance, like many here, I would be nude 24/7 but life and weather just won't allow for that. Matter of fact, I was so bound and determined to be nude always that I started working at a nude camp. Been 2 yrs now (working that is. summer work) and it's great.
As for where to put your wallet? GoTo http://www.wristpocket.com problem solved. I haven't carried a wallet for months and I love the freedom. You can wear it on your wrist or ankle under a shirt when dressed and noone will know. Plus you don't have this LUMP in the back of your pants where most men carry them.

Gary, I'll drink to that!
Jon-Marc, You could also waer a thin leather strap for your keys around your neck or wrist or waist or ankle. Now ,in an ideal situation, what would you need a wallet for?
Fred,
If you're driving you need your ID. If you go to the store you need money, credit card or checkbook, and it's better to have somewhere to carry it other than in your hand.
As for the wrist wallet, it's only 2 and a half inches by 3 and a quarter inches. I doubt that most wallets would fit in it; I know mine won't. I have two very similar to it. It holds money and keys but nothing bigger.

The pocket itself, made out of a stretchy material, will hold credit cards, folded money, keys, coins and more.
It really is a good solution. If you look at the testimonials on www.wristpocket.com, (http://www.wristpocket.com,) you'll see one from me, where I mention that I am a naturist.

I'd wear my fanny pack, like I do now, probably a hat outside and shoes. Would carry a towel around to sit on.
Wouldn't bother me to be nude. Wish it didn't bother others.

Given your conditions Gary, I'd be right there with you. However, as others mention it is only a dream, because society is so very far away from this - quite sadly /infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif .

Nudists actually sometimes wear little bags that you can wrap around you waist that are big enough to put a wallet and keys in and you can still be nude but still have a place to put stuff. Youd be amazed at how resourceful some nudists can be just so that they dont have to wear clothing. If push comes to shove though, just wear some small loose shorts and just put stuff in your pocket. At least youd be wearing something for a practical reason but only be wearing something that you needed and nothing else. Best thing to do is find a nude alternative so you dont have to wear anything. There are places online that you can buy this stuff and you can even find some of it at some places out in public too.

To all those who responded to my post... please notice a key pharse... "in an ideal situation" ... what would we need money for? The good name that our faces represent should be all the credit we need.
In an ideal situation, we wouldn't need driver licences on our persons... our good driving habits (roflol) would eliminate need for that.
In an I.S., we wouldn't have any need to carry a set of keys with us... we could trust the rest of the world not to enter our possessions without our consent. And, of course, we could all be nude without having any shame imposed on us by the do-gooders and busybodies.

The pocket was waterproof big enough for things like a driver's licence, credit card, some cash and a folded up topo map. You can also use your socks as a pocket. (I can't imagine being a so much a nudist I'd go barefoot on concrete and asphalt.) Stick whatever you want to carry inside the sock and then roll it over. I've also seen small zippered pouches that attach to you shoe laces for coins and keys.
Or you could use a small zippered pouch hanging around your neck.
Joggers and runners have a similar problem. Lightweight workout clothing often has no pockets. Look at the solutions they've come up with.

I think with the advent of computers becoming so commonplace and with them becoming so small and reliable and able to do things in a quick amount of time and able to do many things at once. It would seem that you could reach this ideal situation if every place you went to used either a handprint scan or optical scan to be able to identify who you are and see the condition of your driver's license, ids and such. This way the only way people could access this stuff is through you and there would for higher access to some things need to be also a voice recognition or typed password to ensure that you are who you say you are and that no matter how hard any criminal tried, he wouldnt be able to access your personal id and such because he would need 2 or 3 different ways to get it and most of them he couldnt get without you or your cooperation.
Also with cars you could have them so theyd either recognize your handprint on the handle and thus only open for you and other designated persons and would also only start the car and allow use of its functions for those people. So this would remove the need for keys and also would prevent the capability of people stealing your car. Then everyone could go everywjere nude and use their body as their own personal id.
When I'm at the resort I wear three items: sandals without socks, a hat with no pockets and sunglasses. I leave my keys and money locked up in the car. I have a small wrist wallet in which I carry change and a spare key to the car door, so I guess I actually wear four items.

I believe most of us carry around a lot of excess baggage. I have eliminated everything that I feel is not essential. Work days are my most laden days. I carry driver's license, maybe credit/debit card, cash and the store key. My vehicle keys stay in the vehicles, and I have no idea where my house keys are.
When I am home I am nude. When I go to a nude venue I have only one key a couple of cards and some folding money. This takes up very little space and can be carried in a small pouch.
I do realize that most of you have to carry a house key, but it takes up very litle space. /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

My hikes in the natural areas down below our ridges here are about as ideal as I get. I wear shoes and glasses that turn dark with the sun. In winter, I wear a hat because it does keep me warm. In warm weather, I wear just a sweat band to keep sweat out of my eyes. During hunting season, I wear my blase orange vest (yet almost never see any hunters during the times I'm down there). If it's below or near 40 and cloudy, I wear pants and shirt. Above this or no wind and sunny, it's only the aforementioned articles.
If I need anything else, I'll take it down in my cart with the tractor.

I for one like having a bag with me, so I can carry the basics like: ID, Keys, Lipbalm (the sun and elements are murder on ones lips), water (or something to drink), something light to eat, my cell-phone, something to sit on such as a towel or piece of cloth big enough for two, and something to do, such as read or one of the many projects I am working on... And actually the one I have, has room for all of that and more...considering I enjoy hiking, and some of the above items go wherever I go even when I leave home go to work. I also have rigged this puppy up so that I can carry my shoes on the outside and still be somewhat covered when I see someone I am not particularly comfortable being around.

Everyone had great ideas about how to carry stuff. I think most of the time it would be a fanny pouch for me. In fact, I've used one in the past while dressed too. A billfold can be a pain the butt. Literally.
And the towel is a good idea too.

Instead of using a fanny pouch I use a flesh colored money belt, as it is smaller, more compact. I carry my keys on two spiral plastic wrist bands on my left wrist.
Of course, all men usually carry their keys in their pants pocket. But I have learned (the hard way) to carry my keys on two spiral plastic wrist bands, as I had the bad experience as explained as follows, and also because I can wear my keys while swimming.
I took my clothes off at my car and put them in the trunk of my car and closed the lid. My keys were still in my pants pocket, which by now, were locked up in the trunk of my car.
I had not locked the car doors. I tried for hours to get a locksmith to come to the resort from town, but it was a holiday week-end and no one answered my phone calls.
A man who lived at the resort unscrewed my back seat with a wrench and screwdriver. With a coat hanger, thru a rather restricted opening, my pants were fished out of the trunk, so that I could get the keys out of my pants pocket.
Let my experience be a warning to others - take your keys out of your pants pocket before you lock the car!

Yes! The flesh color blends in with the color of my own flesh, so that the "sleek" line of my "beautiful" body doesn't appear to be interupted so much. It's a matter of the visual magic of fooling the eye. LOL.

I, also, agree. In addition, I believe I would feel safer if living in a nudist environment. It may have something to do with my public speaking traing when I was told to envision everyone being naked while I spoke before a large audiance. (It did work, for me, to get rid of the "jitters.)
