James Brian Sliter, a registered sex offender, is running for mayor in Wilmer, Texas.

I have no more details other than that posted above.
It will be an interesting race if nothing else.

Maybe some of our Texas members can illuminate the story and enlighten us as to the particulars.

One wonders what it takes to be labeled a sex offender in Texas ... was he skinny dipper? Did he urinate in the woods? Did he rape a child? Just ... don't ... know
