Chelsea for Prez, asap!

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/

Watch the video, her eyes narrow just like mom's --look out a lamp's gonna come flying any moment!

I think her response is valid. Its obviosuly a touchy subject and I am sure that if we were in her shoes we would react the same way to it.

Good for her. It was a perfect response to a trashy question.

Yeah really, really, really trashy. Almost as bad as asking or engaging in morbid speculation about one's age, I'd say!:D

Chelsea put herself out there as an adult, and she should be treated like an adult, not a China doll.

I think the question was fair and valid, because after the Monica debacle, while doing damage control, Hillary said she was "proud of her husband." This, in my opinion, would call into question her judgement.

Or, maybe she "misspoke" or "can't recall." She seems to have a lot of problems in those areas lately and always wants a pass.

Hillary has gone after Obama in the Rev. Wright controversy, by saying that "we don't pick our parents or relatives, but we DO pick our pastors." Someone should remind her that SHE picked Bill. Another error in judgment?

Believe me, I'm non-partisan. I just see what I see, and these people ALL live in glass houses.

Nope! I don't. So, by the same standards the media should go after Bush twins regarding the little sociopath's drug and alcohol abuse and the Laura's complusive shopping and chain smoking addictions?

I agree completely. And, if King George believes so much in HIS war, why doesn't he send his fat assed daughters over there in some capacity?

I knew YOU would mistake me for a conservative. I'm far from it. Politics aside, I dislike Hillary as a PERSON, "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." Shrill and b!tchy. And, in my opinion, insincere.

If you want to talk about Obama, that's a different story. But, I basically distrust ALL politicians, and that's my right.

I believe in Capital punishment.

I think EVERYONE in the CAPITOL should be punished! :peace:

I guess Bill Clinton has found the legacy he has longed for, and that's his escapades with Monica Lewinsky. It's apparent this 'legacy' will haunt him and his entire family for the rest of their lives. Sorry Chelsea, but live with it. I'm sure more questions are sure to surface. She is a grown lady and not a child anymore, so as such, the news outlets will hound her periodocially on this very subject.:smoking:

I would like to add that I think the Dems have a good chance of winning this thing -- IF they reel in Hillary and Barack and tell them to "fight nice." The constant sniping at each other is only discrediting them and their party.

People are weary of it, and it's only going to drive people over to McCain -- who some disgruntled Reps consider to be nothing more than Hillary in a suit and tie. But, being the diehards they are, they still want him as president because he wears the label "Republican."

That makes about as much sense as voting for Barack because he's Black or Hillary because she's a woman.

Personally, I find all of this more entertaining than any show that's currently on TV ! :rotflmao:

Children should be "hounded" for the sins of the father?

Yes, she is a young adult and sadly, yes, she will hounded and this is very, very sad. But such is typical in our society that the children suffer for their parents' or siblings' mistakes. We still have a lot of evolving to do, don't we?

In my opinion, the "sin" in any of these "sex scandals" involving politicians -- Clinton, McGreevey, Criag, Spitzer, et al -- isn't the sex. That's the least of the "sin." That's between them, their family, and their God.

What offends me greatly is the lying and the "holier than thou" attitudes they all maintain. These people are all in a position of authority, trust, and should be worthy of respect, and I don't like being lied to.

As for the media "hounding" their children. Well, we can all agree that's wrong. But, that's the media, and that's what sells papers and gets TV and radio ratings. That's just reality.

Partly true. Maybe it's not the selling that's wrong, it's the buying and consuming that's at fault. Then it becomes not them, but us.
