Naked at home

Greetings to all,
Being new to this website, I have a question. For years I have enjoyed being naked at home, as when I come out of the shower, etc. Now I seem to be doing it more, and enjoying it. However, sometimes I feel absorbed in the pleasure of it, and sometimes feel it is silly or childish or a self-centered activity. Any comments? Thank you for your honest answers.

I know what you mean. In the early years, I used to question myself: "Is this making any real sense? Is this silly?" I wrestled with these doubts, particularily when I lived alone and was nude by myself. Experience and time, I guess, matured my perception of nudity. I don't really question myself about nudity anymore. I may or may not be dressed around the house; not much thought goes into it. Coming out of the shower, and if it's been a tough day or a gruelling workout, I will have no thought about putting anything on. If I am preoccuppied, I may throw a T-shirt or some PJ pants on, again, with no thought going into it. Sometimes I may even find myself nude without any recollection of when or how I undressed. And vice-versa.

Some people attach a specific activity to the time they spend nude at home; be it surfing the web, exercising, playing or even doing chores. That's also a good way of routinizing nudity without overanalyzing it.

All of my time at home I am nude, as is the wife. We both find it very relaxing not having the constraints of clothing. We have been doing it for so long now it has become the norm and we don't think about it one way or the other.
If you enjoy the freedom of being nude be nude and don't try and find some way out reason as to why.

Feeling relaxed without the constraints of clothing is the the main purpose of nudity, not to mention being able to enjoy the lifestye hasslefree. Mere home nudity should not be frowned upon just because everyone else "doesn't do it". It's a perfect example of how families are brought up, some clothesfree, some not. As stated before, I'm sure there are more families out there that practice home nudity, or parts of the day being nude at home, that what the general public really knows about. Those families prefer not to let the cat out of the bag, so to speak. It's more common than people think.

I know what you mean! I am always absorbed in the pleasure of being nude - especially in bed. I think that it's just normal.

nudeM, I agree totally with you. More families than we think are parts of the day nude. It has come up in several conversations, that parents shower with their kids. Which to me is normal.

Sounds perfectly normal and natural for me. We're nude at home almost all the time. I do much of my work out of the house, so I'm nude even more. Even though we've gone nude at home since we were married, almost 29 years ago, there are still a few times when I find myself walking down the stairs and thinking how great it is that we can just go nude anywhere in the house, whenever we want. It's such a sense of freedom and relaxation. I can't imagine living any other way!

Being nude has enhanced by efficiency at getting things done around the house. Heck! I was doing my taxes in the nude and enjoying it....that is crazy!

I can understand you, these are social prejudices, but you only have to think about how you feel when you are nude and how much you enjoy.

Show up at an IRS office nude! Tell them they took everything you had, and there's nothing left to give. Perhaps they'll be sympathetic.

Thank you, Zevei, for your comment on how much more efficiently you get things done when you are not encumbered by clothes. I am finding that true, too.
Also, thank you, Laura Lopez, for reminding me that it is social prejudice that I must put aside.
I am finding that doing all sorts of things at home naked is much more comfortable.

Actually there was one year that I was finishing up my taxes on filing day. I owed money, so I waited until the last minute. I did actually jump in my car, nude, and drive to the post office, and drop the return in the mail. I really felt like they'd taken everything else, so why not pay up while nude.

should not feel self centered at all! it means you are relaxed and enjoying the lifestyle in a home setting. i can tell you it is more enjoyable when you are with others such as a resort or club. you'll find the quality of people is very high! enjoy it!!
