Travelites from the Low Country as well as the Columbia area feasted on a Low Country Boil. The jumbo shrimp, the smoked beef sausage, the sweet corn was all delicious. It was followed with a number of scrumptious desserts. Some of us ate more than we needed to and unfortunately, even though the hot tub was visited several times, calories did not melt off.

One of the local new members turned out to be a college fraternity brother of Allen(my husband). They've not seen each other for about 40 years. It's a very small world indeed. Travelites gained 2 new couples and 2 new men this week into our ranks. The club keeps getting better and better.

One of our renewing members, Roscoe, will be standing in for me at the Criminal Laws subcommittee hearing on Wednesday at 2pm. He will have the "I'm A Nudist And I Vote" buttons to give to those who show up. Remember, you don't have to talk, just be there so the subcommitte knows there are a number of nudists who are concerned about the definitions of this bill. ANYONE who will be attending, please let me know who
you are. Email cheridonna@prodigy.net.

Please visit our updated website at http://www.travelites.info where you will see event reports as well as the calendar of events.

Our next event is a Passover Seder held at our home on Saturday, April 19. Some people will be coming from long distances including Florida and either tenting on the property or staying in nearby motels.

I have bought most of what we need. Please confirm your attendance. There will not be any event fees, but contributions will be welcome, or you can bring something but please let me know. Since it's a
traditional religious event, things need to be Kosher for Passover. I still need to purchase a few things including the turkey for deep frying.

April 26 will be the 2nd Annual Pioneer Days. This event will be a great day starting with an ice cream social at 3pm. Bring your favorite flavors and toppings. The club will supply the "bison burgers" and members/guests are asked to bring side dishes and desserts. It will
definitely be a fun day including guitar pickin' and pioneer games. Please RSVP by the 23rd. In case of rain, the event will be moved to April 27th (Sunday).

May 3 is World Naked Gardening Day and Mexican Fiesta at our home. If it's as beautiful outdoors as last year, it will be fantastic. I will buy pumpkin seeds to try to create a Travelites pumpkin patch again. The event will begin at 2:30 with Mexican potluck about 6:30. I'll be supplying tacos with all the fillings and trimmings. Please bring additional dishes. RSVP is requested by April 30.
