Thanks sauna, yes it is a nice (albeit long) video, you probably also hold a record in how many people can fit into one sauna hehe. Now if Finland could succeed in exporting this relaxed attitude towards nudity as much as they do with nokia phones then the world would be very different indeed. But maybe this is just the finnish "secret" you best keep to yourselves.. :-)

There are many more interesting videos on that site (it looks like they are from vivrenu site, so that is no surprise) but download is a bit slow to say the least. I'll keep trying.

You are right. The place is Vivre nu and as small advice it is normally fast before there are too many French people. So do it first in the Norway morning then it is fast.

Unfortunately this interesting thread lost the attention span, probably due to too much other heated topics/threads (if you smell a rabbit you know what i mean)

I looked at other videos on the same site there are certainly some other interesting ones.
However, there is one that I would like pick out for a comparison.

(the nudes from island Rugen, an east-german baltic island, not far from denmark). Compare the two videos (the german one vs the finnish sauna one). Unfortunately for most of you you probably do not understand what is being said, and hence miss the whole key points. But maybe the visuals are enough to notice the difference.
Both contain a lot of "social" nudity, with families, children, and all kinds of people
While both show a very relaxed attitude towards communal nudity, there are also very distinct differences. I am not sure how to express it properly, it is best just to watch both and think about it. The german one is definitively very much naturist, i.e., people are nude clearly because it feels good. In the finnish movie it is more like - clothes, how dare you suggest it, but it's more like something of a practicality, like this is how we grew up and are used to it rather than a conscious choice to live a more nude lifestyle. I can be wrong but that is the way it appears to me. In the german video you will see families going about their things in the nude; the finnish one was about the sauna, so maybe it was outside the scope anyway but I did not get the impression that was as common. It's the sauna and the dip in the lake and that's about it.

Both are inspriring in many ways, I truly recommend to watch both!
