I found a good recap of the Nudist Summer Camp controversy written up in a document titled, "Between Home and School" (Univ. of Penn. Law Review, forthcoming April 2007) on page 49. The document is available for FREE download at SSRN.com and might be considered "essential reading" for any parents of nudist children (whether they will be attending Summer Camp or not).

A basic membership with SSRN only requires registration and confirmation of this via responding to a hyperlink in e-mail (traditional method).

The document is discussing the types of education for children that occur not at Schools and not in the Home but, everywhere in between (hence the title).

I hope I am not pointing out a document everyone else but me is already familiar with. It is late and I am not up to searching the archives for a previous posting.

Best wishes,
~ Den

Interesting document. They lay out plain and clear that many courts withdraw parental rights of childrearing when they see a possible sexual context.

It is my hope that our courts wake up and restore childrearing to parents. The state has been allowed way too much latitude in determining what a child should or should not learn and the method that parents are allowed to teach them.

As the father of two kids that have been raised as nudists (and the dad of a third who lives with her mom but is comfortable with the lifestyle on her visits here) I found the document somewhat scary! Thanks for posting the link and no, to my knowledge, it had not been posted before on these forums. Get some sleep:)
