George Davis, writer and 2007 nudist activist candidate for mayor of San Francisco will sign au naturale copies of his new book, WEAPONS OF MASS DECEPTION. The book is a thinly veiled fictional account of that political campaign and the San Francisco Bohemian and art world as told from the perspective of a 19 year-old UC Berkeley journalism who was assigned to cover the story.

Marty Edun, a.k.a. the “naked yoga guy”, has a vision – create a strong international FKK Free Body Culture movement for improved societal mental health and better body acceptance among all peoples. The FKK (Freikorperkultur = Free Body Culture) is a century-old European social/cultural movement for elimination of the nudity taboo and to promote mainstream cultural nudism for home life, recreation, and sports. The FKK has only been suppressed during periods of German militarism during World War I and National Socialism (Nazism). The FKK is the dominant cultural philosophy in Scandinavia, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, and other parts of Europe.
Like every known person on the planet, Marty was born naked. Only he was more fortunate by being exposed to nudism for all of his life. Like most nudists, he blindly accepted the cultural apartheid of nudists in America and did little about it for a very long time. One day his newlywed bride said, “You write books. Do a book on Naked Yoga.” The transformation from passivity to activism started.
Weapons of Mass Deception is comprised of the stories of Marty Edun’s adventures building on this vision from 2001 to 2008. These are the tales of life in San Francisco’s Bohemia and art world with all the surrealism and Dadaism that implies.
