World Naked Gardening Day is coming up this Saturday. I don't see anything about it here. I guess it is a 'Nude Event.' The weather is supposed to be excellent here in the Atlanta area.
Get out and play in the dirt!

My garden is rather exposed, but maybe I'll plant some marigolds on the back porch.

Been kind of cool here lately, with only a couple of days to be nude friendly. My neighbors next door have built on to the house and my garden is no longer as private as it used to be.

We will be lucky, they are forecasting 20 degrees C., so we will be able to do some damage in the yard.

Our garden is in plain sight of neighbours and others driving or walking nearby.
So sadly, I am unable to celebrate the day

I'll be sure to join in the festivities by working in the garden, nude of course. The weatherman says it will be a great weekend, so things look good.:smoking:

It's not going to happen here. The forcast for tonight is rain turning to snow. up to 3 inches possible. and 20 to 30 mph winds.
Looks like naked gardening will have to wait a few more days.

NIKKALA and Danni look blooming gorgeous – stripping for Naked Gardening Day.
Our girls posed in their very own Garden Of Page Three-den ahead of Saturday’s world naturist event.
It’s all about getting your kit off to tend your bit of greenery “clothed as nature intended.”
So our girls got all phwoar-ticultural to give their topless tips for the big day, from how often to mow your lawn in May to the dangers of nude cooking.

Rakes at the ready, just click the player below to watch them in action. And check out their best shots by clicking on the small snaps above.
Grass act Nikkala enjoyed giving it a go – but added: “It would be great to do living abroad, but it’s really cold here in Britain at this time of year.”
And Danni said: “I’m not too struck – but I’m sure my neighbours would love it.”

It's here. And it's warm enough to be comfortable. It's also cloudy and the forecast is for rain later on ... More unfortunately, I live in an apartment and balcony has just a little too much exposure for me to go out in broad daylight ... So my gardening, at least, will be restricted.
American Public Media's "Weekend Edition" is doing a feature on World Naked Gardening Day, though, so we can all get naked and listen up.

Still 21 °C here. Had a perfect nude gardening day.
Still have to be carefull for the neighbours (the climbers haven't covered the fence yet).
It was the first day of the year with summer temperatures.
Hope we have a lot more days like today.
Our garden is in plain sight of neighbours and others driving or walking nearby.
So sadly, I am unable to celebrate the day
So, I forked my garden, fully clothed.
BUT!!!!!
Hot after the work, I entered my garage, took off my clothes, and stood at the back door of the garage, enjoying the breeze against my skin. I cleaned off the grass and twigs that were attached to the tynes of the garden fork.
So, technically I did enjoy at least some part of the World Naked Gardening Day!!!!

It was cold and rainy here in the Pacific NW, just about normal for this time of year. I had plenty to do inside and worked on my main bathroom floor. Hope to get it done today.

No gardening for me yesterday. It was cold and rainy and just chilled me to the bone.
Way to cold in Illinois on Saturday. Took a rain check for another day.

We had beautiful weather Saturday afternoon. But I did not know it was WNGD! We had company all day anyway.

I live in central Georgia, USA. Got rained out on saturday, went for an 8.75 mile walk in a HUGE state park in Georgia. After a break, around 5:30pm local time, I darted into the woods and stripped down, and covered myself in 40% deet to keep the bugs away, leaving my clothes and car keys - wearing only my shoes and carrying my GPS. I went on an hour-long nude walk in heavily wooded areas, covering a loop of 1.5 miles. The temps were in the upper 70's and it was WONDERFUL!!!!
This is the third time I'v done this since march 24, but the FIRST time I didn't carry my clothes in a backpack. I was, at one time, over a half mile from my clothes. As I left the park, I checked the parking lots: there was only one other car in the park, a park of 9200 acres. I could have walked the TRAILS and probably gotten away with it.
Sure was fun!

Sounds great! Count me in per our PMs on anything you're up to in the weeks to come. Being nude in the woods is excellent. A wonderful feeling hard to describe to those who have never tried it. I'm not sure I'd reccomend staying away from your clothes - the times I've done it, I've just stripped down and carried them with me - but as long as you are careful, you should be fine. Looking forward to the idea of joining you soon.

Can you believe I didn't get any nude gardening done myself? I also had a bathroom to work on. At least we made some progress this weekend. But it is time to get the garden started.

Well, I am crazy! I left my clothes, but as a backup, hid my car keys about 75 feet from my clothing, so the worse that might happen is I'd be forced to drive home nude. (Left my wallet locked in the truck...)
It's just that I felt "Nuder" by not carrying them, wearing only shoes and holding my ever-trusty GPS.
My next goal is to be able to leave my shoes and GPS, have an area (a small one) that is 'carpeted' with pine needles. That way, I can walk around "extreme nude"!
Like I said, I might be a newb, but I AM crazy!

When I go skinny dipping at the lake I'll usually leave the car keys somewhere nearby or on the car itself to make sure I don't get locked out :P As for the suit, usually I take it off once in the water and either hold onto it or hang it on the pier nearby if I think no one will be coming by. Don't think I could ever leave my clothes behind at the car when in the woods though. A little risky!

I might be more of a risk-taker or thrill seeker than I think I am.
On the OTHER hand, I work hard to stay away from others, never go on trails nude like some others I'v met here! But I do admit that you can almost assure yourself of being alone right after a heavy storm. I'v often thought of going down to the park DURING a heavy storm just to be there right after and have the place to myself - if the storm goes thru at like, 5-6 pm, no one is likely to hang around till after the rain...

I've noted the same thing, usually there are few around once a storm has come through. Gotta be careful in swimming though, lightning and thunder usually comes with those, especially in Georgia. But if it seems safe enough ('safe' being no fear of electrocution :P) you've usually got the area to yourself.

Hello Alfredr. Well,I wish I could partake of World Nude Gardening Day. But as I have said numerous times here on the forum, I would be hauled in for indecent exposure for sure where I live. So, I will hope that everyone else here will be able to partake of and enjoy the day this weekend.
