BONITA BEACH, Fla. -- A Florida man is suing after he was ticketed on a beach for wearing a Speedo bathing suit.

Bob Hezzelwood said he has been visiting Bonita Beach for years and no one has bothered or complained about his bathing suit.
However, recently, a Lee County sheriff's deputy gave Hezzelwood a ticket for trespass and told him not to return to the beach.
A judge tossed out the case.
However, Hezzelwood said he plans to sue the sheriff's department, saying his civil rights were violated.
"It frightens me and embarrasses me to go public with it. But by the same token, I don't know what else to do," Hezzelwood told The Naples News. "I'm a civilian out here who’s been picked on by a little bully deputy and that’s wrong. It’s just wrong."

I'm not quite sure where Bonita Beach Fla., is but the deputy dogg who gave this man a bench warrent ticket ought to be fired asap. What kind of idiots are we now breeding in our country? What is this place, Saudi Arabia? I'm truly flabbergasted.
Who are these American Taliban members of society who are so hellbent on telling others what to do?
I swear I'm strongly considering moving out of this place once I retire. We are rapidly becoming the laughing stock of the civilized western world.

Greetings to all,
Although I am new to this website and forum, I have learned so much in just a short time. From what I have seen here and from my interest in gay issues, I agree that we probably are the laughing stock of the civilized world!

Hey, don't knock it, the American government, and espescially that Bush fellah, give us more laughs than Tinseltown, and the laughter isn't canned either!

P.S. I don't know why I'm laughing, we just got rid of one clown, now we're left with Gordon to run the show (Into the ground.).

Is KBR dumping something into the water in Florida? Like some kind of taliban inducing hallucinogen? In the heart of nudist country, Land O'Lakes Florida, a teacher was fired for 'Wizardry'.Magic trick costs teacher job (http://www.tampabays10.com/news/local/article.aspx?storyid=79533)
By: Janie Porter
Land O' Lakes, Florida -- The stories in the news about inappropriate relationships between teachers and students have been overwhelming. There was even a substitute teacher in New Port Richey who got in trouble after investigators say she had a relationship with an underage student.
Well, another Pasco County substitute teacher's job is on the line, but this time it's because of a magic trick.
The charge from the school district — Wizardry!
Substitute teacher Jim Piculas does a 30-second magic trick where a toothpick disappears then reappears.
But after performing it in front of a classroom at Rushe Middle School in Land O' Lakes, Piculas said his job did a disappearing act of its own.
"I get a call the middle of the day from the supervisor of substitute teachers. He says, 'Jim, we have a huge issue. You can't take any more assignments. You need to come in right away,'" he said.
When Piculas went in, he learned his little magic trick cast a spell that went much farther than he'd hoped.
"I said, 'Well Pat, can you explain this to me?' 'You've been accused of wizardry,' [he said]. Wizardry?" he asked.
Tampa Bay's 10 talked to the assistant superintendent with the Pasco County School District who said it wasn't just the wizardry and that Piculas had other performance issues, including "not following lesson plans" and allowing students to play on unapproved computers.
Piculas said he knew nothing about the accusations.
"That... I think was embellished after the fact to try to cover what initially they were saying to me," he said.
After the magic trick, Rushe's principal requested Piculas be dismissed.

This idiot deputy needs to be fired in a very public way for abuse of power. It sounds like he was probably just acting based upon his own dislike of Speedos.

For people who have so many problems with radical Islam it does seem like many in the political establishment are trying to fast track us to become like them. Saudi Arabia is trying to execute a woman for "witchcraft" and Tampa fires a guy for "wizardry." Woman must be covered from ankle to neck (or head depending on the nation) while many places in the US they can't wear thongs or be topfree. Now a guy gets into trouble for wearing a speedo.
