My wife and I are off to Greece in Late October 08. Can someone tell me which is the best island to visit so that I can enjoy some nude relaxation. If someone has a favourite B&B or hotel that is close to nude beaches or a resort, I would be interested in knowing the location.
We are looking forward to the trip, my wife however is a non nudist, but does not have any problem with me enjoying the lifestyle.

I wholeheartedly recommend Vritomartis near Chora Sfakion (A.K.A. Hora Sfakion) on Crete. The pool deck and beach are obligatory nudist; however, it is a good initiation into such an environment as there are no gawkers. Clothes are obligatory in the main building of the resort where the restaurant is located and on the resort grounds after dark. The rooms are clean, the prices are moderate, the food is fantastic, and the scenery is incredible. The main beach is actually separate from the resort. There is a shuttle bus that operates between the resort and the beach though the beach is only about a half mile away and many resort guests just walk there nude as the only traffic on the road is from the resort to the beach. You do not need to stay at the resort in order to use the beach though there might be a day fee.

BRISnude,
I just reread your post and saw that you are planning to travel to Greece in late October. According to the Vritomartis website, the resort closes for the winter on October 23. Vritomartis is on the south shore of Crete. If there is any place in Greece where it is warm enough to swim in October, it would be southern Crete; however, you should move your trip up a month if you wish to ensure that the sea is warm enough to swim.

Anyone traveling to Greece should check out the website of Captain Barefoot, one of the most comprehensive website on nude beaches in greece. Lots and lots of info.

You will have a great time. When it comes to hotels I always check out tripadvisor.com for travellers reviews. It's a really useful site.

yeah, captain Barefoot www.barefoot.info gives very comprehensive information!
i would recommend Mykonos. there are 2 main CO resorts with the names that speak for themselves: Paradise and Super Paradise. But even close to Athens there is nice nudist beach with flat rocks Limanakia, i have written about it in my blog http://active-naturists.blogspot.com/
