Not in Frankfurt but was there with a work a while back, the thermen at Wiesbaden, both in the town and on the outskirts, are well worth visiting and people will chat to you.

I am on the other side of FFM so havn't explored Weisbaden yet apart from a brief visit one rainy afternoon! I'll keep exploring the options there, although have just discovered a lake, about 25mins bike ride from me here, that has an FKK zone and can possibly link up with some members of the german online nudist forum which would be cool.
are you a regular in Germany or was your work stint a one off? It seems there is a really large turnover of english speakers around here!

yes, I sort of stand out as unusual here in Germany!! I wrote to you via one of the pages too, and really love your homepage. Slowly sorting through it. Not sure what the weather will be like in October, for going to the teirpark (?) but the Arena centre pool looks absolutely amazing. We will only have 3 days in Berlin on this trip but if it lives up to expectations, would like to spend a lot more time there in the future. I think it will be a very exciting city and good connections for art and photography
