I train solo, and so occasionally practice my stretches, techniques and kicks nude - I particularily enjoy practicing kicks nude because there's nothing there to restrict my legs or hips; I definitely feel more fluidity in my movements due to the lack of friction.
Forms can also be practiced nude.

I would not recommend weapons training or sparring nude. I once experienced a painful equation: nunchaku+high velocity+penis=OUCH!!!

Aikido? I guess it depends at what level you practice it. The advanced Aikido I've seen involves some body-slamming to the ground, which could be hazardous to the "flying bits".

A soft takedown with assisted landing could work. Or you could engage a takedown without follow through.

I practice Aikido and I couldn't imagine doing any heavy training nude. Maybe warm ups and cool downs. I wouldn't want to have to do a break fall naked..

Used to do martial arts,Tokgakure ruyu, and often did it in the nude and barefoot.Best was in the hills and mountains....students took it a bit hard, but soon liked it.Many times just comoflagued the body, and went practicing nude.It was difficult to see through the comoflague that I was naked, only real close.Loved it....full contact...meant to protect the wickets! It was wonderful.

I'm a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and I've done a lot of nude workouts in the past ten years of my martial arts training. It's definitely a solo activity though and I don't get to do it a lot.

My wife has been a fencing fanatic for years. She was preparing for a match last summer and asked me if I could curtail the sunbathing for awhile and use her extra epee for some sparring with her.
I agreed and grabbed an old pair of boxers and began the practice session with her on the back yard lawn.
I lost myself in the action, and unknowingly my penis popped out for a breather. When I felt a breeze I stopped the play and she remarked about it's not fair, two swords against one.
We both laughed and resumed the action again.

An interesting idea, but is it practical?

What I mean is, my club has a philosophy of training in the correct kit for your environment - since you are most likely to need self-defence in the street (competeitions aside), we wear street clothes and shoes to train in. At least that way you hone your skills in the same way they might be used, if you follow me.

I'm sure I could land a superb roundhouse while naked for the same reasons you have suggested, but not nearly as good a one while wearing long pants or jeans. As a result, I train almost entirely in long pants, for the day I need to nail one of those kicks.

That's a good point. It depends on what you're training for. If you're training for self-defense (or competition), that's one thing, but if you're training for the sake of the physiological and psychological benefits of the training itself, then I can see how doing so naked could be a huge advantage (depending on your frame of mind).

I practiced martial arts when I was a teenager. Wearing a cup was important. I remember one day the instructor's son neglected to, and he ended up in a lot of pain.

And I can think of many times where I've been glad I remembered to wear one. Sometimes people miss their target, fortunately I've always been prepared for that.
