After an all-too-brief but wonderful naturist weekend, back to work and facing:

Please wait
Downloading program updates
================= 25%
Estimated time remaining: 3:05

Why is it that the weekend went so fast and these four minutes seem to last forever? Maybe, whenever I have "estimated time remaining", I should close my eyes and imagine I'm still lounging poolside! :)

I wonder if any great or grand ideas have hatched while waiting for updates to complete?

:idea: Perhaps if everyone meditated on something important during tech wait times, the world would incrementally become a better place? Personally, I would happily use a quick popup list of meditation topics! Suggestions?

monsieur!

as my late friend alton used to say, "i feel ya!" i too just returned to work (yesterday) after a week that included visits to one officially nude beach (haulover), one unofficial c/o beach (amelia island, florida) and one fantastic resort (sunsport gardens near royal palm beach, fla.). even tho' my vacation lasted a full seven days, it seemed too short.

that is a great idea about a pop-up list of meditation topics. since patience is definitely NOT one of my strong suits, that might help me keep my stress level under control while attempting to multitask.

as a catholic christian with a great love of God's word in scripture, the obvious route that i think of is short scripture passages.

what about meditation topics for other folks -- say, non-christians, non-believers, . . . ?

there are plenty of people of good will out there. what would benefit YOU?
