View Full Version : Painful activity?

I recently stumbled on a German website concerned with horseriding nude. Was this site simply created for erotic titillation or is it an activity that is practised much? I would have thought that whether indulged in with a saddle or bareback soreness would soon kill the erotic effect. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of this?

Hard to comment without seeing the site, but I cannot see why simple horseriding would be deemed erotic.

As far as discomfort goes, I'm not an equestrian but I do not recall that horseriders, riding casually, need special genital protection. From a personal hygiene perspective, I would imagine that some kind of fabric between horse and rider would be sensible.

It's ok if you shave the horse first.

It's hard to say what the point of the site you mentioned might be. There are a few places where nude horseback riding is offered as a naturist activity. There also seem to be many sites that offer erotic pictures of nude horseback riding; there must be a fetish about that.

What's NOT in question is that you wouldn't want to undertake a long ride without protection for your inner thighs. "Saddle sore" isn't a folk tale. There shouldn't be any harm in a short ride, particularly if the horse is just walking.

Your link seems to be out of date.

I often notice on these sites that those people who question whether horseriding or bicycling would be suitable or comfortable nude activities, are obviously not riders themselves...
If they were, they would realise that the clothes regularly worn for general riding activities (as opposed to more extreme activities (like downhill mountain bikes), or riding most motorcycles..), don't actually do anything to pad or protect sensitive body parts..
And like a couple of others have said already on here - what is 'erotic' about bareback horseriding, anyway.

I'm not sure what to think about this comment, but it sounds as though it may be including my own earlier comment.

I ride horses and I ride my bicycle. For short rides I may or may not wear special protective clothing. If the horseback ride will be more than an hour I wear clothing that protects against wear and tear on the inner thighs. If the bike ride will be more than 30 minutes I wear padded cycling shorts. Both of these are activities that I think would be easily done nude for short periods of time, but would become uncomfortable on long rides.

There are, of course, some activities that are potentially too painful or dangerous to consider doing nude as well illustrated in this video:

Interesting "you make the call" list.

I have done all of those things nude with the exception of the Harley (I have a BMW).

Um....we don't need to discuss how well I did some of them do we?

Riding a horse nude is fine except one of you has to have a blanket on at some point to prevent chaffing.

Horse - no blanket - rider in loincloth or chaps
Horse - has blanket - rider nude

Being painful ... well I guess that depends on how many times you fall off.

My only painful nude activity was ironing clothes.

I wasn't careful and stood too close to the hot iron. It hurt like hell and left a burn scar on my right hip bone. It wouldn't have hurt at all if I had on a pair of pants!

Needless to say I no longer iron clothes in the buff.

A friend of ours was frying bacon one time. She found out very painfully what the splatter can be like.
There are certain activities in life that require or prefer protective clothing. Usually I feel vulnerable when I find myself doing one of those. Frying bacon is one example.
Another friend of mine, a volunteer firefighter as well, made a comment once because someone was not wearing a helmet for biking: "Are the rocks softer in your neighborhood?" I think that says volumes about the comment someone else made as far as "you can get away with it for short distances." Well sure. Just like helmets did not exist when I was a kid riding my bicycle.

Frying bacon: put an apron on your nude body.

Clothes are highly recommended when pruning roses. I did it without clothes just once.
