Travelites' Oktoberfest 10/4 - RSVPs needed

I just ordered neat traveling Oktoberfest mugs for this fun event as well as Oktoberfest decorations. I do need to know how many will be at this event being held in Greenville, SC.

We will be leaving Tuesday morning headed to East Carolina University to present my lectures and returning home late on Thursday. I'm not sure if I'll have access to a computer while away. If possible, please let me know asap.

I will be fixing brats with onions & pepers. Someone else will be fixing sauerkraut. What will you be bringing to add to the potluck dinner? We'll need desserts, sides, rolls, possibly another entree or two.

I will also be bringing 3 oz. tasting cups for the wines/beers y'all will be bringing.

This year's Oktoberfest was enjoyed by people not only in the Greenville, SC area where the
event was held, but also in the Columbia and Charlotte areas. Our newest member, 8-month old Lucas, was definitely welcomed by everyone as were his parents.

We enjoyed a variety of Bavarian dishes including a pork chop/sauerkraut dish, bratwursts with peppers and onions, Hungarian sauerkraut, grilled sausage plus for dessert, apple crisp and a German chocolate cake.

There were a number of wines and beers with intereting names and tastes. Lynn's hot tub was perfect, and we very much appreciate the hospitality shown to Travelites. It's a perfect home in which to enjoy cooler weather or any time.

Our next event will be on Sat., Oct. 18th, Founder's Day Celebration (my birthday party) starting @ 4pm at our place. We'll be carpooling from here to Casa Linda in the strip mall near WalMart at @ 6pm and returning here to enjoy Marble Slab birthday cak and more hot tubbing. Please let me know as soon as possible so I can make the restaurant reservations. If you would prefer to just stay at our home, you are welcome to remain while we go out to dinner.

The following event will be our Halloween party on Oct. 25th. We are waiting to hear
confirmation from one of our members if the event can be at their home.
