I know you're going what in the heck is she talking about? Well this...I was considering letting my 7yo niece learn how to ski and do it at my uncles private lake where she can do it nude. If she falls, and bless her heart she will many times, should I be concerned about water that is injected into her privates? Is that a problem? Ladies and moms, do you see an issue or am I just too worried?

Well, since she needs to wear a life jacket anyhow...why not just have her wear at least suit bottoms to help a bit. Trust me, you fall hard enough, it still won't totally help. Can you say enema?!

The body kind of "seals" naturally. I can't imagine any way that a significant amount of water would get in. I do agree that life vests are a great idea though.

Yes please have her wear a life jacket. What a great opportunity though to learn how to water ski just wearing that. If she has good balance and her arms are strong enough, she will catch on pretty quick.
Grew up with a half-dozen water-skiing girl cousins and never heard a complaint about "water injection"...and we would have heard them! LOL ...even when they were learning on two skis ...and we had some pretty spectacular wipeouts! :) Fun summer memories!

I do recall my mother describing learning to ski as "the hundred yard douche", but that was purely in jest.
Water skiing has been going on for many years now, and I've never heard of "water injection" injuries. I wouldn't worry about it.

The only places where you can have water injections are your nose and mouth and this can happen in normal pool. The life jacket is an other thing and it is good to have every time when water skiing.

Been water skiing many times. Wife nor I have ever experienced an 'injection'. And, we wipe out a lot.

I don't know about water sking, but I will tell you as much as I learned about a similar issue from Sue Johanson's sex education TV program. She says that intercourse while submerged in the hot tub or swimming pool can be dangerous to the female organ, because of the water pressure created by this activity.
Sue Johanson states that "it is ok" in the shower as no undue pressure is created from the water flowing in the shower.

I know one real accident which is little like. My friend's son came down water slide and sons foot touched my friend's ear and pushed water in there. It caused damage in ear, but ear is far more open organ.

I have water skied, and I am sure there will be no "water injection" problem. But wear a life preserver. The orange ones that are worn around the neck and over the chest are the ones to buy, because they are the only ones that flip the wearer face up.
