Twenty great folk made plans to attend Travelites' annual Lobster Bash, but this year was a
little different. The lobsters were donated by a friend in the cold northern climes.
They were perfectly steamed in chardonnay, water, and rosemary. Roscoe made a good oyster stew. There was spaghetti Alfredo for those who did not want lobster plus for the
crustaceans, melted butter and lemons. We also enjoyed perfectly seasoned vegetables plus Sharon made a fantastic cheesecake covered in chocolate.
A couple of things were left at Larry's: baby blanket and bottle, but we took the calories
with us. Once more the hot tub did not melt them away.
We have some really talented musicians among the members. Larry P., Roscoe, and Keith played guitars and sang. They are really good!
Thank you everyone for sharing this feast. It definitely is a year to remember.

Our next event will be our Winter Holiday party at Terry & Paul's in Camden on December 13. We will have a grab bag (please bring a gift between $5 & $10). Men should bring a gift
for men or neutral, women should bring a gift for a woman or neutral.
We will be having an Italian potluck before the grab bag. Paul is making his yummy lasagna.
Please bring a side dish or dessert, but so we don't have too many duplicates, please let
me know what you'll be bringing. The time is 4pm. Small plush holiday animals have been
purchased as gifts for all.
This event will be followed by the last hot tub party and potluck supper for 2008 at our
property in the Hopkins area.
New Years Eve will be celebrated at Terry & Paul's. The fun begins at 8. Heavy hors
d'oeuvres is the food for the evening. People are invited to spend the night.
We wish all our friends could join us for these events and that everyone has a super
