After five days of fog and cold weather along the coast I decided to venture inland to the desert & visit De Anza Springs resort. On the drive I was happy to see the temperature gauge on the speedometer continue to climb. When I arrived at the gate of De Anza Springs the temperature was 73 degree; alot better than 58 at the coast. I was so excited about the warm temperature as soon as I pulled my car into the resort after the gate closed, I hopped out tore off all my clothes, dumped them in the trunk and drove naked inside the grounds to the office. Now, stripping down as soon as I'm inside the gates is not what I usaully do but I was desperate to feel the sun on my bare body. The day turned out great. I was able to jog two miles, lift weights, and catch some sun by the pool. I hated to put my clothes back on when it was time to leave. I am so happy I went. I really needed some time to be naked in nature and soak up the sunshine. I feel recharged and ready to go back to work. Playing naked sure cures the winter blues!

its lucky for some, I havnt had any oppertunity to go outside for about 2 months whithout going blue and keeling over. The inside world is definatelly my place for the next 3-4 months and you have absolutely no idea how anoying that is to realise.

Nice, sdson... I was at Harbin Hot Springs here in Northern CA last Wednesday, and of course, the day I chose to go it was cold, cloudy and raining (and the rain is always cold here too, yuck)! I am happy the water is always warm there...

Do you not get to a local naturist swim? There must be several near you, or one of the clubs with suana and swimming facilities perhaps.
PM me if you want more info and contacts in the area, I know a keen lady in Burgess Hill.

sdson,
I've read about De Anza Springs but haven't ventured there yet. I have gone to San Onofre and Blacks but no resorts yet. There is a swim scheduled for this Saturday in HB which should be fun but it's indoor (we're a bit spoiled in this part of the country)... But still, it would be my first club event which should help put more 'social' in my Naturist experience.

Have a nice day.

I haven't been to any nude swims in nearly 3 years... I hope to make it to the next one in Sacramento. They're potlucks, and there's normally a few dozen people, so it's always fun... :)

I Know exactly what you mean about needing that. I will be flying out Friday morning going to Cypress Cove in Florida for my first visit.
After our early winter here in N.C. I also need it.

Enjoy your visit to Cypress, but bring some warm clothing for the evenings! I live in the area and watch the weather daily. Expect sunny days with temps in the mid 70's during the day and low 50's at night. Sunday nite it is supposed to to down to 45 degrees with a high of 65 midday. A little chilly.. but perhaps better than NC!
Helpful hint: use the indoor hot tub and the heated pool closer to the registration building!!! Enjoy your visit.

Thanks Garbo for the advise. Lately we have been untypicaly cold here in Charlotte with lows going down to 17 and highs only being in the 40's. We are normaly much warmer for this time of year. These are temps we typicaly get in late January or early Feburary. Last year at this time we were still able to set out in the sun, at the club but not right now.

glad you were able to have some fun in the sun somewhere! travel would be a little more expensive during the winter months here.
