Accidentally nude where one was not supposed to be

The threads about the sauna sign reminded me of something that happened a long time ago. I wonder if any one else was naked where one is not supposed to be and what happened.

My experience:

I went to Pittsburgh on business and was staying at the Doubletree downtown. I was on the tenth floor and there was no hot water on my side of the hall due to a temporary problem. I went to the health club down stairs to shower.

I noticed there was a nice jacuzzi next to the shower room. There was a door to it right next to the opening for the showers. I thought it must be for males. I rinsed, walked out and went in naked.

It was not just for males. On the other side of it was a pool. While I was sitting there naked wondering what to do, two females came in.

After a while, I confessed to them my mistake and asked them to look the other way.

One of them said it was not their mistake, they would not look away, but they would not complain either.

I then proceeded to get out naked.

As I was getting out, one of them said, "nice butt".

I turned around still naked, said "thank you", grabbed my towel to use as a wrap and went back into the men's locker room.

If we are expected to share... Hmmm... Think the best one I have to share would be the time wife and I were asked to dinner at some freinds' house whom we had recently met and spent a few different days with at the nude resort. Knowing they were nudists, and knowing we were nudists, and meeting at their home, where they claim people from their travel club congregate, I figured, 'Why wear clothes?' and went nude. My wife wore some sweats expecting it to be cool in the evening. Luckily, my wife walked in first. SURPRISE!!! Non-nude get-together with several other (non-nudist) people we had not yet met! I got about halfway to the door when my wife came back out and stopped me. I had no clothes to put on, and a drive home and back was too far, so we excused ourselves and just went home and blew off the dinner party. Oh well! Last time they ever invited us over too.

haha... that is unexpected to be sure. If the word party was ever used, I would say it would be appropriate to ask further. Other than that, if they are of the same lifestyle as you, I would venture to say that showing up nude would be acceptable.

When I was about 13 or 14 or so, I realized on a school night that I was out of underwear for the next day. I guess I was kind of an exhibitionist in my youth because I was raised in a "prude" household. I went down to where my mother put our clean laundry and on the way up the stairs, my dad walked from his room to my little brothers. I guess I was at the right angle for him to not be able to tell I was naked because he looked at me and simply kept going. I have never really been sure if he knew or not and haven't asked him yet.

Maybe one day when I'm older I will... My parents still don't know I like to be nude. I usually do it in the privacy of my own room. Though they probably wonder why I keep my door locked so much!

Other than being potentially embarassing my only story is going to a restroom at a restaurant and while in there thinking that the owners must have renovated it because it looked different from what I remembered. Only when I came out did I realize that I had been in the women's room. Luckily no one else was in there the same time I was.

One time, I was at the Buffalo airport to fly home. I went to the men's room. There is no door on the men's room.

A young woman in her twenties ran in. She saw me standing at the urinal. She said, "excuse me". Then she stared for a moment before she left.

Hi, Nakedstudent. I wouldn't worry about being seen naked at home. Your dad probably thought nothing of it even if he did see you nude. While I wasn't raised in a prude household, it wasn't very open, either. Nonetheless, circumstances happen where we all saw one another undressed at unexpected times. It's just a part of life.

as far as wahroom stories go we used to go to dances at the local arena,the ladies washroom always had a long line compared to the mens it wasn't uncommon to be standind at the urinal and have 2 or 3 girls walk in to use the stalls no one ever thought anything of it and I can't recall anyone ever complaing or being embarrassed.Also I lived in a few work camps that had unisex wahrooms and showers.No problems there either everyone just accepted it

I was at a conference in austria some years ago which was held in a nice hotel that had a sauna as well.

Being used to german habits, I went naked from the locker in to the sauna and saw most people in there in towels or bathing clothes. The minority was naked like me. Some textiles from the US stared at me stared at me as if they had never seen a naked person before while most of the others did not take notice.
Although I was convinced of being right I laid my towel along the side to it somehow covered my sex.
Within a hour the scenery changed, as those who stared at me were the only ones in clothes - still staring at the others as if the naked guest were doing wrong.

I never feeled that displaced when being naked at a place made for naked people ...

I've been to the baths designated for men in Japan. The cleaning ladies start coming in any time they please and don't seem to mind seeing us men there.

I've also gone to women's rest rooms if the men's is occupied. Happened recently at Southern States. A lady kinda looked at me a bit funny when I was coming out. Hey, with an enlarged prostate, you gotta go; you gotta go. I've stopped beside the road and gone behind a car door or even in a parking lot behind a car door. There's no law against opposite sexes using the other's rest room. I've gone to unisex rest rooms in Japan. The ladies have to walk by the men at urinals to get to their stalls.

Wow walter05. How fortunate you were that night! You are lucky they didn't flatout panic and run out of there screaming and urging someone to call the police! If I sound like a pessimist on this subject, I sincerely apologize. I just feel for some reason if that had been me in that situation, I would have had an entirely different reaction from those ladies. And for one of them to compliment you on your posterior in the process, that in itself is quite amazing! As I said, what luck!

when I was trying to introduce nudism to my friends, once we all of us (three couples) got in to showers together. And before that every one agreed to be naked including ladies. So when we got in, I took off my clothes off and another guy too. Oh' man others did'nt. but we stayed naked all the time,and at first felt like embaressed.but later we enjoyed very much ,and I felt great.and thay didn't mentioned anything wrong about nudity. I don't know if this fits the topic as I wasn't nude by accident but I have been nude while hiking AKA freehiking and run into others while out in the backcountry. Once ran into a couple of fishermen I just smiled and waved and went on my way. Another time ran into a couple on horseback the man gave me a dirty look but the lady just smiled. I have had moutain bikers surprise me but I know the feeling was mutual by the looks on thier faces. LOL! Have ran encountered other hikers on the trail as well never had a confrontation or had the cops waiting at the end of the hike about the worst was a guy who yelled put some pants on after he and his female companion had already walked by. I was tempted to yell back take yours off but I didn't want to push it.

my first trip to a nude beach sort of falls under this catagory. After spending a bit of time on the beach, I noticed a trail that headed off along the shoreline. So with shorts in hand, I decided to take a walk. As I was making my along the trail, I passed a few nude sun bathers laying on the rocks. So I did not think that there was any problem. Until i came around a corner and was face to face with a family of four walking towards me. Of course they were fully clothed. Seems the trails are not clothing optional! The mom and dad just gave me a strange look and the two daughters giggled as I passed by. And of course, there were more clothed hikers on the way. I figured i better put the shorts on.

Of course as I got more comfortable with this area, i found the right trails to hike naked on.

Around eight-nine years ago -- a very hot summer night. My home office is in an end bedroom, and there's a window that faces the street. I had the window open, but the shade was down.

I was sitting at my computer terminal, and was nude, as I had just stepped out of the shower.

Our home has a back yard that is private on three sides. The fourth side was a house where everyone worked. I enjoyed nude sun bathing during the day. One day I was enjoying the sun in the buff when I heard a noise from the neighbor's back deck. I quickly turned and saw my neighbor Barb. I too have a story that fits. I've been a nudist for about 15 yrs or more but none of my family new as it just never came up. But a few yrs ago I had a house that had a very private backyard in the country, at least on the back porch and immediate surrounding area. So I often sat out on the back porch in the buff watching the sunset or enjoying the coolness of the summer evening. As I did this one day I needed something from my pickup and walked over to get it. This walk exposed me to public view very slightly as it was in my driveway which was lined by tall trees and hedges so that the only time you could have seen me was when you were directly at the end of the driveway. So it was very safe to make this walk normally.

Anyway, this particular time just as I was almost to the truck I heard a vehicle approach and turn into the driveway. It turned out to be my Father, stepmother and my 2 younger nieces (about 9 & 10). Of course they all saw me nude shocked as I simply stepped beside my truck for cover. I wasn't at all bothered by this. Anyway, they came in and parked while I grabbed a pair of shorts out of my truck and put them on. My father and stepmother just commented something like they caught me by surprise or something, but it was no big deal. The funny part was when my nieces and asked me if cooked bacon in the nude too. Don't know where they came up with that but it was pretty funny.

I've since told all my friends and family that I'm a nudist and I'm usually nude when at home so if they are coming over and catching me nude bothers them, just call first. I've never had a problem since.

when I was in high school, I stayed with a friends family in Carlsbad for a couple of days. I had forgotten my regular swim trunks, but had a pair of gym shorts. While we were body surfing, my shorts would slide off, but I could keep them at my ankles & pull them back up without anyone noticing. On one ride I didn't realize my shorts came off completey. At work we have 2 buildings that are mirror images of each other. I enter the bathrooms in my building going to the left. Rarely do we have a meeting in the other building. Every once in a while, I'll be thinking about something we just covered in the meeting and go to the bathroom. Without thinking I go into the bathroom on the left. Yes you are one step ahead of me. In the mirror image building, the guy's bathroom is on the right. It is very embarassing to exit the bathroom and have to get out of the way from a lady entering.

A few years ago, I was out with my mates on a saturday night and I bumped into a female friend of mine, Claire, who was with a gang of her friends. We got talking so much that the people we were with had left and gone on somewhere else, but we stayed talking anyway. She said that, as I hadn't enough money to get home, I could stay round hers and she'd give me a lift home the next morning. When we got back to hers, we had a drink, chatted in the hot tub in her garden (we both had our underwear on) for 20-30 minutes and then went to bed. We were up talking and I needed a drink of water. She lived with 3 other girls, who I also knew very well from the pub, but she said they'd gone away for the weekend, so wouldn't be back til the following evening.

So I went to the kitchen, naked, which meant walking along the landing, down the stairs and through the living room. I poured myself a glass of water and, as I was standing there, I heard some drunken girlie voices. "****!", I thought. One said "I'll stick the kettle on". I was standing there a bit stunned and wondering what to do next. Then, I heard behind me "Hi Andy! Nice to see you!!!" and then some laughter. Her housemate Jessica came and stood right next to me and said "Excuse me" as she filled the kettle up, giggled and looked me up and down. I said hi and turned round, walked out of the kitchen and saw her other housemate Louise sitting in the living room, flicking through the TV channels. She had her back to me and I said hi and she turned around as I was walking out and shouted "Wahey Andy!!". Jessica was giggling and slapped my bottom as I walked out. As I was climbing the stairs, her third housemate Mia was just coming down the stairs. She started laughing and said "Well, how lovely to see all of you" as I walked past her. I got in to bed, told Claire what had happened and she started laughing. So did I for that matter!

About 10 minutes later, there was a knock on the door and it was Mia who asked if we would mind having a word with them downstairs. We both got some clothes on and went into the living room where the 3 girls were standing completely naked with their backs to us and, when we walked in, they let out a "Whooooo" and waved their arms around. Me and Claire both looked at each other, burst out laughing and so did the other 3. They then said we shoud go in the hot tub so they could round off their weekend, which had been spoilt by the event they were meant to attend being cancelled. Hence them arriving home earlier than expected.

I live in a shared house with 4 other friends (males and female). This doesn't gives me lots of naked time opportunities, except in my own room of course. My luck is they are all fairly active and therefore are away more often than not.
It's not that rare that I have the full house for myself, so I often take the opportunity to not bother with clothes.
So, one night 2 of them were back in France for the weekend, another I knew wouldn't be there... And the last one, I thought, was also away for the weekend. So the quiet naked night went on, and when it was time for me to go get some sleep I went back in the lounge to shut down my laptop I had left there. Then I heard voices from the window right next to me, then exclaiming "Hey! Julien's there... fully naked too!" "And with the curtains open" [i](Oops, I had indeed forgotten to close them :blush:) "Too late, we've seen it all hehe". One of my house mate with one of his friends just came back from some late night party.

Well, they didn't seem utterly shocked at all, mostly amused, but I must admit it was still quite embarrassing :P I just grabbed a gown and went to open the door for them and that was about it.

when I was about 19 my mother did not yet know I frequently sleep nude. I was sleeping one morning this time with covers on though I often end up kicking them off during the night when my mother came in to talk to me and kiss me goodbye before going somewhere. I still was not sure how she would react to my sleeping naked and did not tell her I was in my birthday suit under the covers. I know there is nothing wrong with sleeping sleeping naked and lots of non-nudists do it but I was not yet ready to tell her. She has since found out and doesn't seem to care.
That was 1 house where going back and forth to the bathroom naked with a non-nudist family would have been impossible since the only way to go from the bedrooms to the bathroom was directly through the living room. in a nudist household not a problem. in a non-nudist household a big problem.

I don't sleep nude all the time, but I do when the occassion takes my fancy. One morning, when I was about 19 or 20, I was lying in bed, nude, thinking that I should get out of bed and have some breakfast. The next thing I know, a girl from the oub came into my room, sat on my bed and asked if I would call her a taxi to take her home. She explained that she'd come home with my brother and he'd gone off to work. Now, the phone was downstairs and I was in my room with this girl, a Norwegian au pair, and I had to try and find a way of getting to the phone. any way that I did it, she was going to know that I had nothing on, so I thought I'd just tell her that I was naked. She didn't mind at all so I just got out of bed and walked downstairs with nothing on. I called a cab and went back to my room and she was sitting on the bed reading one of my motoring magazines. Another time. I had a family visiting me. Mom, several daughters and a son. They decided to spend the night. I went to bed and the mom joined me leaving the kids to sleep on the living room floor. Just after I went to bed I remembered I left the fireplace blower on. It will soon be blowing cold air as the fire had went out before we left the room. I got up to turn the blower off. As I reached for something to put on the mom said don't bother, they're asleep. Ok, her call. Well of course they were not asleep. I said I was sorry to them and that it was their mom's idea for me not to dress. They told me that being nude was OK in their house so it must be OK at my house. I soon learned that was the case at their house.

Actually, I've seen photos of women using male urinals. It's not very dignified and they show more than their 'lady garden' off to the menshockedProbably why not many do it more than once:laugh:

Some women can easily master the manual method, others can't, not everyone is built the same. I have a friend who can literally write her name in the snow, and another who can't manage to hit anything other than her own leg. Everyone is different.

Yeah, sometimes you end up having some pretty weird discussions while sitting naked around the campfire. And then it gets weirder when the lessons start ...
