Nude Year Resolutions

Anybody have any special Nude Year or Nudism resolutions for 2009? Maybe a naked resolution would be on that I could actually keep! ;-) Hope everyone is having a happy, safe, and blessed (and oh yeah) naked holiday season!

Ditto. I only made it to a resort once last summer and I'm ending the year with left over vacation (not carried over). I resolve in '09 to take better advantage of both vacation time and opportunities for nude recreation.

I am going to go ahead and join my local nudist club. I haven't been able to get out there as often as I would like so I fugure by going ahead and joining them I will sort of front load my decision.

I'd like to be nude in a social setting with someone else also nude. I've sat on a beach late at night with my cousins but was the only person naked. I'd like to really experience social nudity this year outside of strip poker.

I also think it would be cool to spend more than 24 hours in a row naked and also to do more outdoor nudity.

I'm pretty sure I can go at least 2 for 3 on these this year. I really am hoping to get all 3 in though.

I'd add a resort to the list but I'm not entirely sure how I'll be financially this year and if my summer will have enough free time.

After helping my 92 year old father for two years, up until he died, and then getting his estate settled, and then having a serious Cycling accident, I hope to be able to get back to Gunnison Beach this summer, and to get back to going to resorts.

Last year, mrs lurk and I spent too much time going to Red Sox games. This year -- 2009 -- threefold resolutions...

... both of us are going to drop 10-15 pounds

... I'm going to resume skiing this winter

... We're going to spend more time together, and that includes more naturist time together. Not only will we do our two traditional naturist vacations, one at Eastover in June, and one in November to Cypress Cove ... but ... probably will take a couple of summer weekends , to try out Abbott's Glen, revisit Berkshire Vista and Solair, etc. etc. perhaps Lighthouse Beach, and a Long Island Travasuns event.

I would very much like for my wife and I to finally visit a nudist resort in the new year. Since there are none around here, it would require a couple of days off work. I hope it comes true this year.:smoking:

I would like to add, I am speaking of social nudity. I have our backyard which I practice outdoor nudity all the time, so I'm not actually shut out.

Mine is to spend even more time nude, somehow, somewhere, and hopefully here at home in my pool, that I'm installing,mainly, and hopefully get to at least one resort or nude beach this year. Been to none in a few years now. I to am carrying over too much vacation time into the new year, 150 hours. But at least it does carry over. I took 3 weeks this last year, but hope to take more in the coming year.

I agree. I tend to have the same goal. I THINK it is happening. I guess my friends and family would be the best judge of that.

I'd like to have a nude holiday this year. It might only be a weekend at Helios near Edmonton, or perhaps a sunny vacation in the Carribean, if we can find a great deal.

I can relate to this. After caring for both of my parents, they both passed on within 6 months of each other. Then came the long drawn out probate process for the estate.

Anyhow - My resolution is to finally quit smoking and to get much more exercise.

I have over 400 hours of vacation time on the books plus many hours of comp time. So it will be a trip to a Palm Springs nude resort, Lake Tahoe Screct Cove and Kaua'i for 7 to 10 days plus many hours free hiking in the Sierra's.

Then there is our nude friendly back yard.

Like everyone I'm hoping to have more nude time this year. I'd like to take a nude vacation in the Carribean with my wife and also spend more time at the local resorts.

Not really a resolution, but I wouldn't mind spending a little more time at nudist resorts this year. I think I hit 10 days this year. Hopefully, the weather and my schedule will cooperate better in 2009.

Wow! There are some very cool and some very special resolutions!

Mine:

1) Like someone else posted, I am going to try and talk with a friend about social nudism and show them the freedom and fun of social nudity.
2) Spend more time naked on a planned vacation.
3) NOT to drink red wine at the computer or rather keep it out of reach of the cat who knocked the glass over on me making it very sticky! Ha! Note, not resolving to give up the wine! LOL!

2009 looks as though it is shaping up to be a great and fun Nude Year! Thanks to Clothesfree for making such a great, friendly, and safe nudist online haven.

I have decided to contact a few people whose opinions I find to be the most interesting and start to arrage to meet them.

I plan to do so. I look forward to sitting around, drinking tea, and sharing views.

None of them agree with me on much. However, I find their opinions interesting and that the explain them in a manner that causes me to sharpen my own thinking.

As for me (and being a newbie nudist) I'm going to make some very plausable resolutions which I'm very determined to stick to!

1) to make as much beach time this summer to be nude beach time
2) to have a couple nudist friends join me at the beach - even though it may only be a few... for now :P
3) to attend more nudist swims around town (totally AWESOME!)
4) and to be nude AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE at home (which is difficult when you still live with a parent)

They may not be totally out there goals but they're MY 2009 nudist goals none-the-less!

As for my naked resolution, well Maui is in my 2009 plans and I resolve to go to Little Beach several times.

I'm not sure if these are resolutions that out weigh my desire to get in shape, but I want to:

1) Begin a Naturist Blog with my personal thoughts (Already started, follow the Naturist Blog link below)

2) Recruit others to the practice. (Working on one person now who knows of my activities)

New Years Resolution:

To see the idea of respect for all living things, respect for the environment and respect for other peoples ideas so you do not trample on any things right to live, trample on the world or trample on anybodies right to think.

It is strange that this idea was proposed in the dawn of ancient history but I am still working on it in 2009 :-)

Respect of all naturists regardless of gender, sexual orientation or marital status and the removal of prejudice.

My resolution is to live more openly as a nudist. This is the year I hope to make friends with other nudists. Joining this site is my first step towards fulfilling my resolution. I also resolve to ditch my paranoia of being "found out" by my non-nudist friends. It's really no big deal, and if they take issue with my nudism it's their problem - not mine. :)

When I was in the US Navy I've been out of the US quite a bit and have seen countries in Europe and the Caribbean. My wife was an Army brat and moved all over world. I'd love to see Australia but our goal for this year is to visit the parts of this country that we have never been to. I suggested that we plan our trip to include as many nudist resorts as possible along the way, and to my surprise she liked the idea. Just ordered the AANR guide to Nude Recreation and have got to start planning.
