Nude gyms (opinions, experience and do u know of any in OC)

I read the nude yoga thread and started wondering about nude gym and nude workouts. anyone has personal experience with that. can u tell us about it? (sorry if this was posted before)

Sorry............the only nude gyms I know of are at naturist clubs and resorts. We just joined Glen Eden Sun Club. I will now be able to walk naked most every day and use the gym nude as well.

It's gonna be a 30 drive from home to the club but it'll be worth it to be able to exercise naked from now on. The gym facilities are smaller than what you'd get at one of the franchise gyms but.........ya can't work out naked there !

Some non-landed groups rent health clubs (gyms) to use their pools, spas and saunas and the attendees sometimes can use the exercise equipment.

I have seen some equipment at nudist parks; there are times that they may require clothing -- for your protection from the machines.

We used to do that here in Toledo, but its been a long time since we could find any facility willing to rent to a nudist group. In fact most won't rent out to anyone - blaming changes in insurance coverage after 9/11 for special events - apparently the insurers are afraid the terrorists will launch their attacks by renting athletic facilities ...

I remember reading a few years ago about gym-going habits, and it mentioned that people living less than 20 minutes away from a gym are more likely to go regularly, but more than that, they use time as an excuse not to go. I guess you have the right motivation to break that statistic;)

Capital Area Family Naturists used to rent a health club in the Washington DC area. I used to post those events on the Clothes Free Event Calendar. That facility had an indoor pool, spa, tennis courts, walleyball court and aerobic exercise equipment, all of which could be used while nude. The weight machines were excluded.

I understand they plan to begin health club rentals again, later this year. If they post any information on their website, I will see that it gets added on the Clothes Free events calendar.
