Nudist Resort Renting Rooms to Non-Nudists for Inaugural (http://www.dcexaminer.com/opinion/blogs/YeasandNays/A_buff-et_of_housing_option_at_Maryland_resort_0113.html)
So in addition to watching history be made, maybe these people will learn something about naturism. A win-win in my book.

It's kind of cold to be naked in DC this time of year as daytime highs are in the 30s and 40s. Lows in the 20s.

I imagine for some that want to try it, they have the perfect excuse.

Not too unusual. But, back in 1996, when Atlanta hosted the Olympic games, and there were fears of hotel room shortages, etc., the nudist parks around Atlanta received HUGE amounts of free publicity, including an extensive segment on "Good Morning America". Yes, the parks are open to non-nudists, but the pools, etc. rules applied.
We stayed at Hidden Valley (now Paradise Valley) in Dawsonville. Of course, we had been card-carrying nudists for 18 years by that time, and knew the owner and the management of the park at the time. We did some tent camping.
We were only there for the first week of the Olympics; we arrived on Thursday afternoon (day before Opening Ceremony) and left the following Saturday morning. Everyone, except for one couple, were members of another nudist park, or nudist club somewhere.
The one couple that was the exception were a husband and wife that had visited nudist parks from time to time but weren't members anywhere. So it had little effect.
