A nudist club near Washington is offering to bail out people stuck for accommodation during next week’s inauguration of president-elect Barack Obama, but you have to be a bit of a bare-devil to take up the offer.

I really don't think they have a lot of rooms to rent.....although, my wife and I have stayed at Pine Tree Associates over the years and we enjoyed it thoroughly.

No matter how few rooms they have, when everyone else is booked up their few are very significant to the few to choose to stay there. That's the old saying "in the kingdom of the blind the man with one eye is king." That's basic economics. Plus if they can get a few random people into the place perhaps a few may give nudism a try.
Glad you had fun, hopefully some of the newbies who go there just for a place to stay will like it as well.

The guests need not even get naked. They may see naked people at the pool, but more than likely, they would get up early on Tuesday and leave to get a good spot in DC.
After that, they could leave and either go to the park again, staying in their room for the night or leaving for home. It would be too cold to be outside without clothes.

I suspect there are those who might be curious to try it. They have a convenient excuse to be there. Once there, I expect they will try it. Not all but some.
Washington DC weather has things frozen solid these days. Pipes are bursting everywhere. But Pine Tree is a great place and the accommodation offer is a fun way to insert a little naturist message in the general hubbub of the Obama inauguration. In practical terms, getting into DC from Pine Tree is a bit of a drive. I think I'd stay in the heated indoor pool and lobby for a widescreen TV to be setup poolside. :)
