You live in a great part of the country where your season is long. Enjoy your freedom. But please do not force your wife. Let her make her own decisions and I bet eventually when she sees you enjoying it so much she may join you more and more, little by little. Is catchy and she can 'catch the bug' if you treat her with respect.
