Yes, I signed up before the purge of perverts, it wasn't a pleasant place for a while, but I'm pleased to see that they have cleaned it up. Sadly the people I introduced to it have left because of the unsavoury comments and invitations they were getting.

I tried it out when it first came out, and although I'm not easily offended by any means, some of the stuff I got there was just unbelievable.
I may try again in the future, but not until I see more opinions on the site after the "pervert purge"......

I recently joined skinbook. Seems like a pretty decent place. Hope it is anyway.

Yes it's greatly improved, they have a system for vetting people to ensure they are genuine now, and anyone upsetting people like Christine have been shown the door. When they set it up they have no control of entry to the site, and of course it attracted the usual round of sad, sick individuals, and there are probably one or two left, but if they break cover and solicit for sex they are reported and removed.
I believe it is now a safe place, but it lacks (For me.) the atmosphere that CFF has, and I prefer this style of bulletin board to the discussion threads they use on Skinbook.

I joined and I have mixed feelings. I know as a guy I am not going to be harrassed but in some of the public comments there are some people there who seem to not really understand the concept of nudism. Some are exhibitionists a few maybe discrete swingers looking to meet like minded folks. I mean you have to wonder when someone lists their marital status as married yet reason for being there is to meet new friends for fun and maybe a bit more. Yet there are real nudists there as well and some who would like to be, so in my opinion it is a mixed bag. But over all worth a look.

i recently came across a website called truenudists, and it's set up like a facebook as well. to be a member, you must have your application approved, and you even have the option of becoming a "true nudist" (you must send the admin a pic of you clothed and a pic of you nude." i have never been harassed on this site, and i consider it to be well maintained

I heard that they ban photos of breastfeeding women there. There was a huge protest about it and I think its still going on so if thats the kind of website you want to join then go for it. If they ban that sort of thing you can just imagine what they probably do with nudist material.

There are many facebook groups about nudism. We have to censor our photos or have them posed in "Austin Powers" style in order to put them up.

i too have joined the truenudist site and never had any hassle and meet some really friendly folk and lot more local to me uk wise, but like all naturist sites you have to be wary what you put up for public view.

I have been a member for awhile and it is a good site. It is well moderated, one of the moderators is Cheri of the Travelites, who posts on this site quite often.

i really like skinbook so far. have only been a member for a shot time but have already made connections with nice people. even one the is not too far from me. Will see how it works out tho. Like most sites, there is good and bad and I am sure all the good I see now will be tempered by some bad at some point.

That's the trouble with Naturism, whether it be meeting people on-line or inviting new members to your group, you never know what their real intentions are. Naturism is a magnet for pervs. I have always wanted a dedicated naturist social networking site, but do not yet have a solution for keeping out people who don't subscribe to the philosophy. The idea is to meet people you could possibly get together with in your area, but many Naturists are families and that can be very dangerous. Even "regular" social networking sites get their share of false profiles for illicit purposes.
