I hope that this doesn't sound weird, but is it normal to put lotion on your groin area? I bought some lotion recently and started using it, and I'm just wondering if it's normal and healthy to put Vaseline for Men lotion on your groin parts.

I don't know about that brand but I use suntan lotion all the time. However, be sure to wash it off well before any sexual activity as you don't want to get lotion in your partner's vagina.

CVS has a CVS brand massage oil that warms. It also doubles as a personal lubricant.

If you want something like that, it is probably a safer and better option than the lotion.

It is also not very expensive.

I doubt very much if any "CVS" warming massage lotion or oil is approved for or recommended as a personal lubricant or for sexual activity lubricant use.

Vaseline® Intensive Care® has a whole range of Moistures and lotions for anywhere external skin application, some with UV protection.

Two of them I have used:

Vaseline® Intensive Care® "Total Moisture™"
Vaseline® Intensive Care® "Renew & Protect™"

Both would be appropriate for groin area external use.

nudenwv,

I have also heard from several nudists at resorts that Avon® "Skin so Soft™" acts as a natural mosquito and bug repellant unlike any other sun tan or skin lotion, and has a slight glitter after application in the sun.

Typical? No.

Normal? There is no definition of what that is, except within the acceptable practice of a society and I think what your doing is completely find and your choice.

Healthy? It isn't unhealthy. Just be careful about sex, as certain lotions on external skin contact, like the penis are not the same as when in contact internal tissues (vagina, anus, or mouth).

That is what the label on the bottle says.

Before jumping to conclusion, go look yourself.

After a nude afternoon in the sun, I always shower and then lotion up from head to toe. That and drinking lots of water is good for maintaining healthy skin. But recently, I found that using plain vitamin E oil on my genitals is much more pleasent than lotion. And a little goes a long way. Any health food store should have some.

Before sun exposure, sun block all over. After, a shower and lotion on everything that was in the sun. Its also a great way to completely check your skin for any blemishes that might be of concern
