I am uncut, I have complete phimosis/tight foreskin but it doesn't bother me and in no way cause me problems such as pain or sexual difficulties so I am happy to leave it as it is :). If it isn't broken don't fix it.

Just wondering:
Are there any other guys out there who are happy with having phimosis, or am I the only one?
If you have had phimosis fixed how was it done and why did you have it fixed? Any regrets?

I really don't understand the question, maybe someone with more medical training has more information. If your penis is functioning properly, both from urinary and sexual domains, and you're not suffering from infections of the glans, is it really phimosis? Why would a physician recommend surgery (sure, circumcision is not complicated, but it's still surgery) unless there was a problem? I don't think we've got the whole story here.

Now that I think of it, actually, what's this got to do with nudism and/or naturism?

I'm assuming that what he is saying is that his foreskin doesn't retract at all, but it is loose enough for him to still get a full erection without it causing pain or discomfort.... so even though he can't retract it he can still do everything except that. (have sex, etc.)

not sure how it'd affect nudism but I guess it's worth asking

Thats exactly what i am saying my forekin does not retract.... it does not really affect naturism in anyway, its just a general enquiry.

Paoolos,

95% of time phimosis/tight foreskin can be taken care of without mutilation of the foreskin, surgery, and loss of full function and sensitivity.

Quote from Wikipedia:

"Application of topical steroid cream for 4-6 weeks to the narrow part of the foreskin is relatively simple and less expensive than surgical treatments.[9] It has replaced circumcision as the preferred treatment method for some physicians in the U.K. National Health Service.[16][17]"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phimosis#Treatment_of_phimosis

See your doctor, and get a second opinion if a pro circumcision doctor says or recommends circumcision as a cure and resultant loss of function, sensitivity, and protection.

A quick google finds this uk site which seems educational. This subject tends to come up frequently on naturist sites because of our lack of body shame. I am unsure where else it can be discussed in a sensible way. It has little to do with naturism apart from the fact as a naturist we see the penis and may feel out of place if it is not normal. We can no longer hide our penis in our pants.

I don't want to change how my penis is. I am quite happy as it is, in fact I love having phimosis. I don't mind having phimosis, it's kinda nice to have something a little out of the ordinary. I was just wonder if there are any other guys with ohimosis and like it how it is and are quite happy to leave it in it's current condition.

One of our seniors, husband of a bowler friend, had to have about 10 bladder stones removed about a year ago. His foreskin was too tight to allow their fishing instruments to go up the urethra after the stones. So, they circumcized him. He ended up in the hospital with lots of pain from it afterwards.

Hope you don't have bladder stones.

We had a guy in Vietnam come to the aid station. He had green growth underneath his foreskin because he hadn't been pulling it back and cleaning it underneath. Doc had him circumcized. He took a while to recover.

That's gross. Even with phismosis you can clean under there just by holding the end closed while you pee.... that's so silly. Urine is sterile and acidic... thats how babies keep it clean without having to do anything.

I guess I am just looking to make friends with people I have something in common with aside from nudism. Yes i is ver hart to clean... I dont really bother to try cleaning it...... I am pretty much relying on a balance of good and bad bacteria to look after everything inside my foreskin...... I have never had any problems with it and it does not smell bad at all.:)

I was circ'd as an adult and have NO regrets. I, too, had phimosis. But what I do not get, paoolos, is why you don't seem to have any pain? Penetration was excrutiating and next to impossible because of the pain. There is the alternative to circumcision---stretching exercises. I chose circumcision and being MY choice, as I have stated, have no regrets. In my and a lot of other opinions (mostly women) like the look better. As for sensitivity loss---nada!

Firstly, I don't know whay I have no pain all I know is that there is non which is lucky for me. Secondly most guys here in Australia are uncircumcised so I guess the women are used to that look here, most women here like the uncut look, I guess it is what their used too that counts.

When I was a nurse/paramedic in the military we had several men complain of tight foreskins, our simple answer was a short quick 'snip' in the theatre to open up the foreskin a little was all that was needed, not a full circumcision.

Assuming that a male had this condition, should they be visiting a urologist or should they be visiting a doctor?
